The staff is absolutely amazing. They deeply care about their patients. My boy was there for almost a week but I was able to visit him every day at any time. They called me with updates while I was at work and made sure that I understood all the care that he received and provided me with post-op information when I took him back home.

Worst business model of a veterinary practice that I have seen. They were willing to risk the life of a dear Pet because I could not be there to hand them a check. My sister‘s dog was ill and she did not have the money to pay for the urgent care needed. I was called and offered my sister the money to cover the bill. Citing the law which I am assuming they meant the patriot act, they would not except the check that I wrote and my sister took to them. I was unable to go to the facility myself so I provided a picture ID with the check. I talked to the supervisor, Krysta, who checked with the main office and stated this would be adequate. They then gave the check to my sister and told them it was declined. This clearly is not the case as the funds were drawn from my personal bank account from an American bank. And it should be noted that this is a local bank as well. It should be noted they were willing to take my personal credit card number over the phone without any identification being proven.

This was back in 2009 or so, but I tell everyone this story to make sure they think twice about this place. My dog was having an issue choking on something and he seemed to also be having trouble going to the bathroom so I took him for a visit. The doctor wanted an x-ray and quickly determined there was some sort of blockage in his digestive tract and wanted to immediately move forward with surgery. $3,000+ surgery. I found this alarming and pressed them as to why we needed to jump to that so quickly and the doctor suddenly was doing the "Uh, well, ummm..." routine and I asked if there was anything else we should at least try before resorting to splitting him open. Like magic, a $35 shot of barium was suggested and gee whizz, that did the trick. My dog was fine and dandy and had a follow up the next day clearing him. If I hadn't pushed this woman to start at the start of the problem, she would have gladly boned me out of 3K for no reason other than to make some cash. My dog is now coming up on 16 and is still in great shape and is happy seeing another vet who is more into caring for animals and not bullshitting patients and trying to dupe them into unnecessary surgery. The only regret I have is not filing an official complaint back then, but at the time I was happy enough to have my healthy buddy and the knowledge he'd never be going back there again.

Love the vet and the staff. This place makes us feel right at home, and they treat us so well. Our dogs get excited when they hear the word 'vet'. We've moved further away but have made the drive for 5 years now because we love the people here that much.

They were nice up until the day came to bring my pet home after being there a while. Totally all about money! And Melissa at the front desk is impersonal, rude with attitude ( young oriental girl ) who then told me it would be a month for a follow up appt, unless I wanted to pay extra. ???? Get yourselves some caring, sincere employees. I felt like a number and treated unkindly., esp from the teenagers at the front desk. Treat people with respect. I just hope my pet was well cared for. 0stars for that!
