The front desk receptionist literally doesn’t know anything about the gym or classes. I tried getting details on one of the classes and tried to schedule my first class with the gym. She was not helpful at all and seemed to not know anything about the class. Hire more knowledgeable staff please.

there is so much to like about this gym -- spacious interiors, lots of windows and lights, high ceilings, and a rooftop, a rarity for Gyms in New York. All the classes i have taken were great , taught by kind, knowledgeable instructors. A few of the machines are past their prime, but i don't find this to be a problem (you can pick and choose, as it's usually not overly crowded). this Gym has been around for about 10 years now, and i appreciate that it's an independent gym-- it's got character that way. The current manager is very kind and rather accomodating.

This is a great place to either workout, learn boxing or just get relaxed in the sauna. Huge space and bunch of classes to try

Beautiful facility thats being run to the ground under new management. I recently canceled my membership after 2 years, got tired of watching my rates go up with my guest passes going down. Classes are great and instructors are excellent but much of the equipment is breaking (photos to come) and even the HVAC would spit out hot air mid-summer. 

The new manager is quick to promise on things she can't deliver on or even bother to follow up on. With gyms like blink, crunch, 24 hour fitness popping up everywhere and class pass getting its stride I can't imagine this being the best bang for your buck.

best gym around no doubt. coach lenny is the best & biggest motivation ever. staff is super nice and everyone that goes there is super chill. 100% recommend if youre thinking about joining. the classes are great too.
