I am only basing my review on the diner alone as I didn't check out the sportsbar on the other side of the restaurant. Looking at this diner from both the inside and outside, you can see that this place needs some major remodeling. Everything on the inside looks quite dated, but overall, it is clean. The service was pretty good, and my food came out fast, in spite of me being the only person dining at the time. I ordered the veggie omelet with home fries, and it was not bad. The only thing is that they over buttered the toast where it didn't melt, and it left a bit of a greasy taste in my mouth. They have a pretty decent sized menu with reasonable prices. From what I can see, the sportsbar is pretty hopping early in the morning during breakfast time. I guess it is true...it is 5:pm somewhere. Overall, I would come here again if I am passing through to get a quick bite to eat, just nothing with toast on the side.
Great staff. Very cozy spot and super accommodating for events. Thanks for helping me make the party a success!
Ordered a Grilled chicken cesar salad & it isn't at all a cesar salad. Picture for reference. Honestly, dissapointed.Food: 1/5
Been ordering from here for years. As of today I will no longer order. Ordered 2 triple decker sandwiches. As advertised they come with cole slaw and pickles did not receive any. Requested wheat bread for white bread instead and was stale. I understand inflation has the cost of food up but it’s not right to cut corners and leave food items out of an order or use old food.
I have eaten here for years. I love diners and this one is well-worn, but has character. The food is always reasonably priced, satisfying, and portions are generous. I love the Greek-style side salads, and their meats are excellent. One of my favorites is Steak Tips over Rice. Yum! The owner, Adel, a distinguished, older Egyptian man, is almost always here when I visit. If there is ever anything wrong with a meal, he is always happy to fix it. This place is a fixture in this neighborhood and deserves love. The only reason I didn't give the food 5 stars, is it's diner food, and the large menu they have to deliver places constraints how they can prepare certain things. They have a lively in-house catering business in their back room, which is often busy on weekends, hosting quincinieras, and other local celebrations. Wheelchair accessibility: I regularly see people in wheel chairs in this restaurant. It is on the same level as the sidewalk, and there are no steps. The restrooms, however are down a flight of stairs and are not WC accessible.
The girl that works the phone is not professional you do not get what you order or what you pay for. The girl should work at a donut shop or car wash.. you have to pay with credit card so this way you can put stop on payment. Once they have your cash they don't careFood: 5/5
Great place for fun after hoursFood: 5/5
Food is always horrible. Last time I order from this place yuckkk . Uncooked everything . No taste.
I have been to many bars in the city. But green pavilion is by far the best. The starters, the customer service starting from the bartenders to the owner is better than any establishment I’ve been to in my entire life. The food is great, drinks keep on flowing. So come by and leave a nice tip
Best diner in the area by far. Their chicken wings and mozzarella sticks are my favorite. The burger and fries are always a hit as well. Atmosphere is great - that old school Brooklyn diner charm. The prices are very reasonable and their service is amazing. You're missing out if you haven't tried this place.
