We visited the restaurant, which is attached to the market. Staff was friendly and working hard to ensure tables were served promptly. The food was excellent, as were the cocktails. The cocktail menu is longer than the food menu, so if you're coming here, know that you have extensive options for excellent cocktails. Prices are high for the area, but certainly reasonable for the quality of food received. The appetizer menu is quite polarizing and isn't very kid friendly. That should be improved.  The atmosphere inside is bustling and lively and perhaps a little on the noisy side.  There is a large parking lot with free parking immediately out front from the restaurant.

Best place to shop, groceries and catering. Staff is friendly. Owner is amazing. Good food with good people. Love visiting here. Sometimes they host local farms like a garage sale or state fair. I would die for the food. Owner is so talented and cook anything for your needs.

I enjoyed the pizza but the steak sandwich wasnt warm it was cold maybe because they were too busy visiting while my food cooled off in thier hands. I like the open space but the flies were deffinately a kill joy. Had to eat fast to get away from them. I wanted more choices to choose from since im tryna be on a certain diet but they didnt have much to chose from.

Green Scene is many things: market, caterer, shop, and now it is a restaurant! We have been traveling across the country and this was our first truly fresh meal in 3 weeks. My first bite of salad was full of flavor with just enough dressing to complement the greens. We had the special pizza and the bean dip with fresh veggies and crackers, followed by a chocolate sundae.  Best of all, their outside deck was dog friendly!

It was a perfect day to have a bowl of soup and split a sandwich with a friend. Their tomato bisque was over the moon good! The soup came with an amazing thick slice of sourdough bread with butter. We split an egg salad sandwich. Who would have thought to put capers in egg salad! Green Scene did! I'm going to do that from now on. Service was great, ambiance excellent, everything was just perfect to introduce one of my friends to a treasure that we have in the north woods!...Lynn VanAllen

We had a very small wedding ceremony on a beach in Akeley, and went on a pontoon to celebrate right after with family. We're both vegan and picked up the most incredible food we could ask for - the picture doesn't do it justice especially because I ate so quickly! We ordered: 1. Delicious roasted veggie sandwiches - the flavors of the veggies & the spreads were incredible, and the bread was so delicious! I should have ordered more, everyone raved about them! 2. The Nirvana Dip - which got eaten up the quickest! Everyone loved it with the fresh tortilla chips. So so flavorful! 3. Rosemary White Bean Hummus & Veggies - the dip was great and the veggies were so fresh and incredible - loved the unique watermelon radish, yellow carrots etc. vs. what we normally get on a hummus platter usually generic veggies, not so fresh - very tasty! 4. Fresh Fruit Skewers - absolutely delicious taste, everyone loved these! 5. Vegan Wild Rice Krispies - these were so so good! We loved being able to have a little dessert Erin & her staff went above and beyond with not only the food, but communicating with us about options, sizes etc and packing up the food so that we could easily handle & keep it on the boat in coolers with us! Everything stayed so awesome. 100% recommend for catering, and we can't wait to go to the restaurant for a regular dinner together.

Had a birthday party for about 35 guests. Ordered several of the take out platters, they were nice looking and delicious. A lot for the value/price. Ordering and pickup was also easy, would definitely recommend and will come back. The guests also enjoyed and commented how delicious it was, thanks Green Scene.

Creative cocktails! Delicious stone oven pizzas with unique topping combos and crispy crust. Hip atmosphere. Awesome find in Walker.

The Green Scene in the summer is such an awesome community gathering! They host the farmers market every TH and Saturday and the pizza that this place serves is delicious! The egg salad sandwich also delivered a delicious taste if the Masters were on tV and I was eating the egg salad sandwich I might think I was in Augusta, GA. Great little grocery market doing this right in a small community! Way to Go Green Scene! 5-Stars!!

I had the margherita pizza and it was tasty!. Service was good, attentive during small lunch rush and our food didn't take long at all. Neat lil market for some organics and basics.
