We stayed here during the summer while my wife was working as a traveling nurse in Augusta. They were always helpful and met our needs.  We had a very quiet spot with hardly any noise whatsoever. My wife was a day sleeper, due to working nights, so that was a real blessing.  This is a nice place to camp, fish and swim.  The lake is beautiful.  The campground is very family oriented. Recently renovated showers and bathrooms.

The campground and people are awesome! Brochure offers a spa hot tub that was removed 5 yrs ago, and store hours aren't quite accurate. Swimming area doesn't have a beach, but there's a floating dock for the kids to swim out to. We reserved a month in advance.. to stay for a month, but ended up being moved to a site without a water view 🤔😒 and further away from the better showers & restrooms, but made the best of the site we got 👍 Nice campground overall

It's not a park, it's a private campground. $5 fee to see a real dump. The woman at the office was as friendly as a gasoline enema. Don't waste your time or energy on this place!
