A Special Invitation to Fine Artists and Craftsmen

Historical Skippack Village, located in the center of Montgomery County Pennsylvania, is host to several celebrated annual events which draw thousands of visitors. In addition to the larger festivals, our community of businesses regularly showcase the talents of local artists and musicians by hosting special events including “First Friday” evenings in restaurants, bars and art galleries. Green Wolf’s Village Barn Shoppe features fine arts, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, textile art and photography, in addition to an upscale local winery. We seek fine artists and craftsmen to apply for seasonal events and for exhibition opportunities that are ongoing.

Green Wolf’s Village Barn Shoppes is the oldest retail business in Skippack, founded in 1969 by husband and wife Harry and Sylvia Wolf. After almost 50 years in business Harry has evolved into the regions premier cabinetmaker; his furniture speaks to a love of woodworking and the rare gift for creating custom pieces from traditional to eclectic with the deep resonance of American history. Sylvia Wolf shares this passion adding her keen eye as a collector and advocate for talented provincial artists and fine craftsmen. The family has been an integral force in the evolution of Skippack Village as a destination for the discerning visitor, including co-founding the famous “Skippack Days Arts and Crafts Festival” in 1972. The village continues to grow supporting many small businesses who entertain and delight, drawing upscale crowds to its chic and charming streets for candlelit evenings, live music, gallery openings and wine tastings. Today Green Wolf’s hosts a variety of local high end businesses in its “barn”, including a winery, three art studio/galleries and fine cabinetmaking workshop. Following tradition, son Craig Wolf manages events and serves as curator to the fine art and craft gallery also located in the barn.
