There seems to be only one bus per route, and they are never on time. It would be a wise investment for the company to eventually do several things, in order from least to most expensive/timely: 1) print and laminate schedules and a route map and post them at all the bus stops around town. 2) take keeping to schedule seriously, or make modifications to the schedule so that the drivers can keep up with it. Communicate with the drivers to see where peak traffic areas, signals, and times of day cause slow-downs for them. 3) GPS tracking for each bus, and a data management system that studies where buses are getting hung up, slowed down, or stopped. Yes, this is expensive. But it would provide the most solid, indisputable, numerical, and concrete data to work with for route and time optimization. 4) Add more buses to the fleet. I'm sure you already have it on your mind and would like to do that someday, but probably don't have the money for it right now. Understandable. Adding one additional bus per route would be extremely costly. I hope you can get there someday. 5) More advertisements, promotional materials, incentives, and offers/deals/coupons for people to ride the bus. Make yourself more well-known, and make your services appreciated (though first, you have to offer services that CAN be appreciated, ie. being on time and not 15 to 20 minutes late).

They only get 3 stars for the 3 years they practically dropped me off at the front door of my job. Then they changed the route, so now I'm biking it on a treacherous 2 lane road. Now I have to relocate to Atlanta, who has a better transit system.

This service has a long way to go if they expect people to use transit in Greenville. Very rarely do I see anyone on a bus, and if I do, at most it is 1 or maybe 2 people. 1. Inconvenient schedules. It literally will take you at least half a day to go anywhere/to do anything on the Greenlink. Timing on routes is too spread out. Bus needs to be convenient if you expect people to use it. No cross routes. You have to go to the main station first to go anywhere else (outdated spoke system). 2. Unsafe stops. Many of the bus stops are in isolated areas that are no pedestrian friendly. Along high speed thoroughfares (e.g. 276) that have no sidewalks or safe access. Other stops are literally sandwiched on roads that have no shoulders and even ditches alongside the road, and are no where near shopping or main thorougfares in pedestrian-friendly areas. 3. Worst website in America. It's 2016, the website consists of a map of greenville with colored spaghetti dropped on it to represent the routes. No interaction, no estimated times, no schedule pop-ups, etc. You have to go to a separate page to see schedules, and they are not listed in a friendly, user format. 4. Fare Purchasing. To receive an all-day pass or a multi-pass fare, you have to go to their office in Downtown. No modern technology to allow drivers to issue passes or for using passes. You are required to have exact fare- cities around the world give out change cards. Have to use "transfer tickets. Again, it's 2016. The whole lack of technology is not friendly for users. 5. Unreliable buses. I often see them broke down.
