The Greenway House Bed & Breakfast revives the historic beauty and majesty of the former home of the David Greenway family, who were prominent in establishing the Green Lake area as a popular resort destination. With an abundance of activities for every lifestyle – from hiking, biking, boating and fishing to shopping and fine dining – Green Lake's central Wisconsin location makes it a convenient destination for travelers from all over the state and major Midwestern cities including Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago and Minneapolis.

The Greenway House is magnificent! Our room was beautiful and spotless and there are plenty of thoughtful touches that make your stay more enjoyable like the coffee station in the second-floor hallway. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a very large portion. My only complaint is that when we first arrived, a confirmation sheet for our visit was sitting on a desk, along with someone else's, that listed our name, address and phone number. After we signed in, the innkeeper left that sheet out and began to show us around. I had to ask that she put the sheet away, and she did but not before saying there were no other guests there. That turned out to be untrue as we discovered eight other guests at breakfast the next morning. Guests' personal information should be treated with more discretion.

The Greenway House Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful property in a great location. I stayed three nights in the Pleasant Point room, a large bright corner room with a very comfortable bed and nice chairs to sit in. There are ample spaces to sit and relax both inside and outside. The large wrap around porch overlooking the gardens has standing heated lanterns if the weather is cool or you may want to sit inside in front of the antique fireplace. The charm of the B&B lies in the two current innkeepers, Candace and Paul, who will make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Guests are always called by their name and they strive to make your stay enjoyable. Candace and Paul are very friendly and take a genuine interest in their guests. Breakfasts are wonderful. I especially enjoyed the vegetable omelet with roasted potatoes and fresh fruit. Paul surprised me with some warm freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening. I appreciated the friendly conversation from both Candace and Paul during my visit. I plan to return for another visit and would highly recommend The Greenway House for your stay.

My wife and I went up to the Green Lake area in October just to relax and enjoy the fall colors and chose to stay at the Greenway House. Perfect place to stay for a romantic weekend getaway. Very charming B&B in a beautiful location. Candace and Paul, while apparently new to the Greenway House, certainly know how to run a B&B very capably and made our stay very pleasant. We stayed in the Oakwood room, which was very spacious, had a king sized bed, and very nice bathroom amenities. Had a great time... We will definitely be back.
