This is a monthly and seasonal rate Campground, no overnight no weekends. Very quiet and peaceful, all new electrical with 50 amp service. Owners are more business minded then personable. Almost no mosquitoes and lots of indiginess wildlife. Pool, playground, horseshoe and indoor community center.

Not at all family friendly. Every time we went out there the owners would yell at are kids if they left the camper. Came out one weekend and found that the owners toren are deck off. No worning, no resion. Nabors very noise, always looking in Windows and peeping through are stuff. Told that are gests were not allowed to use pool, and that my young nephew was not allowed to sleep over, because he was not on lease. Chose to stay there for location, and amentys. Ended up just feeling stressed out every time I would go out.

Too many barking dogs, especially in early mornings. Says they have WIFI...No they don't! Pool is only open for 2 months for the Summer, unless your related to owners. This year was the worst for us and we left. Owner very, very unfriendly and critical of everything.

Definitely not impressed with the owners. We decided to give the campground a try for the season. However, their electrical system is poor - only 30 amp at best. Even without AC we'd lose power a lot. Not good for taking care of our soon coming son. I had to beg and argue and eventually got out of there. Paid something like $450 for one week of staying there! So be very sure their place works for you before committing. The Refuge RV park just down the road suits me much better. Much more room and good electric service.

I have stayed here twice for extended periods while I was working in the area. The campground is spotless and very well maintained. Its campers seem to primarily be snowbirds who spend the summer. I was befriended by my neighbors and invited to their social gatherings which included pot-luck dinners, karaoke, a luau and a golf outing. I cannot say enough good things about the friendliness of my fellow campers. The campground has a waiting list of people who are wanting to rent on a seasonal basis, so its hard to get into for weekend camping, but spots do occasionally open up during the season which is how I got to stay there. It is an older campground with gravel roads and the spaces can be tough to get in and out of depending on the location. There is a laundry, showers, a community room with a small library of books and videos for everyone's use, and a swimming pool. The bathhouse is always clean, thanks to the resident campers who work there also. There are sometimes children around who are visiting their grandparents, and they seem to be well behaved. The owners are not overly friendly, but they have been professional and helpful every time I've talked to them. They are in the process of upgrading the electrical service whenever they can, which can get quite expensive for a smaller campground especially when the rates are as reasonable as theirs are. I would definately recommend this campground if you can get in.
