I recently had the pleasure of dining at Greg’s Cookout Haitian Restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience that left my taste buds dancing and my heart full. From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal.  The food at Greg’s Cookout is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish bursts with the authentic flavors of Haiti, prepared with obvious care and a deep understanding of traditional Haitian cooking.  The service at Greg’s Cookout is as exceptional as the food. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to share the beauty of Haitian cuisine with diners. Our server took the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and check in with us throughout the meal without being intrusive. The warmth and hospitality made us feel like honored guests in someone’s home rather than just customers at a restaurant.  I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to explore new flavors or simply enjoy a hearty, delicious meal. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Seeing mouthwatering dishes online and already having a great experience at their other location created this high expectations for me and they did not disappoint. The passion fruit juice was deliciously made and so was the rest of what I ordered.Food: 5/5

The food was absolutely delicious. And the presentation is on point. The service was good as well. We were a large group and our waiter Leah, was very patient and kind. All our food came out in a timely manner and we all enjoyed our plates. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.Food: 5/5

My my my! The food was DELICIOUS. I was a little nervous to order because I didn’t know how it would turn out. But I’m glad I did. I got the lobster and grilled shrimp platter with the diri djondjon, plantains, mac and cheese. The lobster and shrimp was seasoned to perfection. I’ve never had tastier, juicy seafood than this. My only complaint is that the sauce for the rice had too much oil. But the food was great! I would definitely recommend! The food took an hour to make but I luckily ordered ahead of time.

Today I dined in and I ordered the Tassot Cabrit Completefried goat and then added 3 shrimp on the side. SOOO GOOD! The fried goat was tender and juicy and had so much flavor! The shrimp was also juicy and flavorful it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal. I got the diri djon djon black rice, and it didn’t disappoint. It had so much flavor, it was a bit on the al dente side which I like in a rice. It also came with gravy, bannann peze fried plaintain and pikliz  I ordered extra pikliz, just do it don’t think about it! Everything was a 1000/10. My partner ordered the fried chicken w/ djon djon and also the Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was so hot and fresh! Everything was fresh. I also had the passion fruit juice which was refreshing; it was the perfect balance of sweet and tart . Wilda, our server, was kind and patient. She checked in with us often, which I love. The service was top tier. I recommend anyone to try!

Marz acknowledged me the minute I walked in the door! She was super nice and friendly! Food being amazing definitely made the whole experience even better. I’ll come back and bring my coworkers here. 10/10Food: 5/5

It’s always a pleasure eating at Greg’s Cookout in Hallandale Beach. Food is consistently amazing, which keeps us coming back, the atmosphere is surprisingly pleasant. Now with the addition of Janine, it’s truly a breath of fresh air from a friendliness speech. So overall the food, the atmosphere, the friendliness and the consistency are the staple of this location.

If you haven’t been to Greg’s cookout, you’re missing out. I am from Louisiana and I make it part of my itinerary to come here to get the snapper. Everyone else is perfect. Today I tried the tassot kabrit and it’s the best i ever had. Come try them and let me know if I am lying. Bon bagay nèt!!!Food: 5/5
