Originally, I actually liked Dr Hoover and his staff, however, I had a ganglion cyst n my right wrist which had to be removed @ Roane Medical Center, and low and behold, I was in recovery and Dr Hoover discussed my treatment with a family member. Not only did he discuss my treatment, but he discussed my medication that is prescribed by another physician, which is just wrong. I'm 55 years old and if I want my family to know my personal business, I would prefer to tell them myself. I called his office, talked to his nurse, who said she would have the doctor to call me and 3 days later, I have not heard from anyone, so apparently they do not care if I am in pain or have an issue. I am a very private person and my business is my business. I thought when you filled out paperwork, designating a person to handle any issues, that is the person who should be pulled aside and talked to. Actually, i don't understand why they wasted all my time before my surgery discussing my treatment if they had no intention of listening to me. I am the patient, and not a very happy one. Needless to say, they do not have to worry about me calling back. I have a lot of joint and nerve damage and need a good orthopedic doctor to help me. It's sad to say, I honestly don't know if you can put your trust in anyone. I am not supposed to take certain medication due to bleeding ulcers and the pharmacy even told my family member I was NOT supposed to take it, but filled it anyway. None of it makes sense to me. I feel like my health or what i know i need matters, period, to the doctors and pharmacies we put our trust in. Hope this helps. Don't want others to experience this. You will be disappointed, just like me.

Best Doctor and staff, I live in Miami, Fl so I could not be there for my son appointment but they took care of him from the moment he arrived till the moment he left. I am very grateful and I will recommend them highly. Thank you Mrs. Susy

Dr Hoover is the best orthopedic surgeon around i would put him up against any other orthopedic surgeon from day one he made this whole knee replacement surgery all about me he never failed to answer any of my question and every answer he gave me was dead on right he definitely is a professional but he also cares about his patients even when I went home and needed a question answered he called back even after we missed the first call he still called again that was around 10:30 pm and while i was in the hospital he came and checked on me and the staff at Roane medical center oh my goodness i felt like a king while I was there i never needed anything they were every few minutes checking on me and asking me if I needed anything at all i want to say this before surgery during surgery and after surgery i had very little pain i left that hospital thinking about how great of a job Dr Hoover and the staff had done on me I've got to have my left knee replacement done and my right shoulder surgery to without a doubt i know where I'll be going thanks Dr Hoover and Roane medical center for making my surgery a very pleasant experience God bless

Dr. Hoover, was exceptional and kind. His care and knowledge provided for an experience of trust and confidence in his ability. I was well cared for, I healed well, and follow-up wast prompt and encouraging. I will choose Dr. Hoover for my surgical needs again and in future.

I have had two procedures with Dr. Hoover, both times Dr. Hoover has given me the time and care one would expect from a professional.  The procedure not only removed a tissue build up but they also improved the  cosmetic appearance  of the surrounding area.  After one procedure I developed a slight temperature, I called his office on a Sunday Night, his answering service  let him know, he responded quickly with a personal phone call.  

My highest thanks and regards for having found a doctor that still takes extreme pride in his work.  His staff are kind and friendly, a place were they make you feel like you matter.
