6 times I've taken greyhound to N.Y. each time the bus was late for pick up. Each time I arrived in N.Y. late whether it was an hr or as for one occasion 3 hrs late. There are no morning bus rides offered which is quite disappointing and they've over booked a bus ride I was getting on today. I made it on but I feel bad for the people that had made plans for they're travels. The only reason this rating is a 2 instead of a 1 is because for most of all of my bus rides the drivers and staff at the station have been very kind to the passengers and usually understand their frustrations. But other than that I would suggest just driving and paying for gas and parking.

The greyhound buses to NYC are consistently late by 20 - 30 minutes. Buses are antiquated; half the outlets don't work, WiFi is so poor that a video won't load on the lowest setting and music will not stream in any quality. The buses ride poorly with suspensions so worn out that I caution bringing any fragile items on board unless you hold them. I had a glass vase break on my most recent trip even though it was surrounded by foam and padding. This company also refuses to accept anything other than paper tickets and you cannot board without one. A $5 fee is charged for printing at the station so expect to pay this if you forget your ticket as they will not let you on the bus no matter what (and will leave without you even though you have proof that you have a ticket on that bus). The driver of the Scranton to NYC bus was disrespectful when I presented the PDF on my smart phone to him. He condescendingly said "That's a cell phone", without explaining what the issue was. Keep in mind that the PDF does not say a printed ticket MUST be presented (I guess you have to read the terms and conditions on their website to find this information). I was charged $5 for printing at the station and barely made the bus. This most recent experience has convinced me to never take a greyhound bus again. I will gladly pay a competitor to avoid greyhound. This all being said, the actual facility is nice and the inside staff is friendly as is the attendant outside

I have never been so disappointed in greyhound as I am today. I booked at least two weeks in advance for my trip and they over Booked not one but two buses so I am stuck in scranton pa I was to leave here at 11:50am and it is now 1:540pm and I wont leave until around 4 pm....all I want is an extension for one day paid by then for there screw up and they can't even do that. I won't ever use greyhound bus lines again and my friends and family will be told how horrible this Experiance was

Employees need training in dealing with the public! Forget shipping with this specific station, they are incompetent and you get the worst treatment. Its almost as if they "Don't" want you to ship with them! I have been trying to locate my package for over a month! Also Beware if you are handed a hand written receipt for shipment, it has a GLI #(tracking #)on it, but you can't track those #'s online whatsoever! And now you have to pay for any shipments in Cash ONLY!
