Very nice Greyhound station. My family has used this Greyhound station for about seven years until 2016. Stop feels nice, warm, cozy, and very welcoming. The only thing that could imrpove at this station is the frequency of Greyhound buses that go between Madison and Minneapolis. There used to be multiple buses a day that traveled between both cities but their frequency was reduced significantly to only one bus a day. That too, the bus only operates mid day/late afternoon. Greyhound got rid of the Early morning bus I used to board to Madison. That bus simply now goes straight to Milwaukee and Chicago. MegaBus travels more frequently between Chicago, Madison, and Minneapolis but does not make any intermediate stops at Wisconsin Dells, Tomah, or Eau Claire. Greyhound should instead consider running all of their buses through Madison and Wisconsin Dells and have some trips bypass Milwaukee. Greyhound takes a very weird route from Madison to Chicago. Rather than going directly towards Chicago through U.S. 12 and I-90 like all the other buses, such as Van Galder and Mega Bus, do through Janesville, Beloit, and Rockford, Greyhound takes a unnecessarily long route to Chicago by using I-94 through Milwaukee. From Madison to Minneapolis, service is spot on and the route is perfectly efficient. Except, Madison's stop at Dutch Mill really sucks. The stop for Madison, WI used to be much nicer before they demolished the Greyhound station right by the Capitol. The previous North Transfer Point stop in Madison also sucked because it is located in an isolated area where there are nothing but industrial plants, such as Oscar Mayer. However, the DeForest stop by the Pine Cone restaurant was a very nice stop for Madison, WI though some people may consider it to be a little farther away from the city. For me, the distance was no problem because I could use the bathroom at Pine Cone and head over to Eqst Towne Mall and get some nice food to quickly eat. Also, DeForest, actually cut the distance somewhat between Madison and Wisconsin Dells. On the other hand, though North Transfer Point was inconveniently located, the stop at the Dutch Mill Park & Ride is far worse. The Dutch Mill bus stop is not in a very good area as it is on Madison's south side. Also, the stop unnecessarily adds distance to people traveling to Milwaukee and Wisconsin Dells. The Dutch Mill stop would make more sense if the Greyhound bus actually changed its route to Chicago via Jamesville, Beloit, and Rockford like all the other buses do using I-90. However, to get on to U.S. Highway 12 and then take I-39/90 North to get out of Madison is very inconvenient. It adds lots of time to passengers' commute times. Generally, I take Greyhound to Minneapolis since ther route to Minneapolis is very efficient with the exception of the Madison stop and route from Chicago to Madison. However, between Chicago and Madison, I would prefer to use Van Glader since it takes the more straightforward route. Also, it stops at the Chicago Union Station more often than Greyhound. Also, Van Galder gives me the option to get off at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Generally, I use this airport a lot when flying all over the world and domestically because this airport is the main hub of the midwest and has many non-stop flights.

Not a station but a shack. The bus drivers have been professional though

Only 1 star because the bus was timely. Other than that it is a complete waste of money. Priority boarding is a joke and complete lie. Seats are cramped and do not have outlets for long trips. Wi-Fi is not announced. Terrible experience, ruined my vacation, will never use greyhound again. My advice try the Mega Bus
