Great food and service. They made sure you were happy. Steak was cooked to perfection and not overly spiced. Drinks were always full. Food came out timely and the salad was fresh. Bread was fresh baked.

Best lunches in town. Whether it be for business, family, or friends it's perfect for every occasion. Great atmosphere, with unique history. Classic charm with great food and great variety. Definitely a GEM that needs to be visited.

It is a 5 star establishment. The food is excellent, the service is as good as you can get. They have a great menu and the fried chicken on Mondays, Off The Hook ! Try em out make sure you call for reservations.

I chose the pecan crusted chicken.  Large portions.  The pecan chicken was sweet with a caramel drizzle and served on pureed sweet potatoes.  I chose the hot slaw as a side and it was delicious.  Cabbaged served in a hot vinegar.  Two people with me had the half a chicken fried.  Both said it was too salty.  This quaint tavern is kid friendly.  Beautiful atmosphere.  Service was okay.

We had dinner on a Saturday night. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful! We had the prime rib and chicken. Everything we had was delicious, including the cheese cake. I would say the slice was a bit small for $5 and I wish they had biscuits!
