For those not familiar with Grocery Outlet, their whole shtick is that they are able to negotiate great prices with distributors who have to deal with overstocks, misprinted items, or items that are close to expiration. Keep this in mind when you shop here. You can find some staples like tuna, pasta and tomato sauce. But don't expect to find a specific brand every time you shop here. It truly is opportunistic shopping. They have great prices on wine and even carry a few craft beers from time-to-time. I usually find myself shopping for the kids' school snacks since they're much more reasonable price-wise and they eat it faster than I can re-stock it! Regarding the expiration date — food doesn't necessarily go band when it hits the expiration date! That's why we have so much food waste in this country! A lot of the expiration dates is merely a suggested time frame. Depending on the product, you can go days, even weeks beyond the expiration before it goes bad. So if you see an item that's a great deal, and close to expiration, you better use it right away. This particular Grocery Outlet has friendly workers and all their employees seem to be invested in being there. All seem to be constantly working—whether it's manning the cash register or restocking shelves. They don't stand/sit around much here! You can find great deals on organic products, dairy and some produce. The company, as a whole, realizes that they can't consistently carry certain products so that's why they say, "shop here first" and save — which is what we do. We shop at GO for the shelf-stable and some refrigerated items then go to Sprouts or some other store for produce and stuff we can't find at GO.

Love this place! Can't beat the wine selection and they have a great variety of specialty foods.

They have this marinated chicken and its cheap! Better get it before they run out!

This place has great prices on the basics, as well as a decent selection of health/specialty/organic foods and personal hygiene items. The staff is pretty friendly too.
