I had the sweet potato cheesecake from here tonight and it blew my mind and my taste buds! I have been seeing groovy chicken and waffles on Facebook for awhile and I have been dying to try them out! They were at a Halloween party tonight and I finally got to try them! The sweet potato cheesecake is so delicious and full of flavor! The owner is really fun and super sweet too! I can’t wait to try their food again soon!
When I tell you this food was so good !! The Fried Chicken was so crispy and seasoned , the red beans and rice was seasoned so gracefully. I loved the food! Y’all HAVE TO COME TO SOUL FOOD SUNDAY! Because when I say it was the best man i’m being serious. The costumer Service is great too!
They have not missed yet customer service always on point chicken always crispy and delicious I haven't had a bad plate from here yet, highly recommend yall get a plate you will not be disappointed!!!
We had an amazing experience with this food truck at our private event! Our guests are still calling us 2 days later to rave about her food. The owner is so sweet and answered all of my questions timely. Very professional!! I personally didn't get a chance to try the food hosts almost never have a moment to actually eat lol, but it sure looked and smelled delicious!! I would definitely do business with this vendor again!

We had the Groovy Chicken and Waffles food truck at our running event. We loved it! Everyone had a large piece of chicken with waffles and everything was cooked perfectly. Nothing soggy or greasy just delicious!!
Buyer Beware! We booked her for a wedding reception as a gift to the bride/groom. She EMAILED me during the reception to CANCEL. Stated she was blocked in; there was nothing she could do about it and hoped she could make it up to me somehow. I was shocked. At that hour on a Sat night, I couldn't even order pizzas. She then LIED to me when as a resolution, she agreed "she broke her own contract and gladly agreed" to pay me the minimum $725 I would have been required to pay her for the event. By not honoring her word or her own contract, she is setting a precedent for any future potential customers. I am disappointed a local business owner would handle this issue with such a complete lack of professionalism. Still, not once has she picked up the phone to call me and discuss. Her actions speak volumes of her lack of personal character and business ethics. I 100% DO NOT recommend doing business with them!
