We just had an amazing visit this afternoon.  We were kind of a crazy group with several tired, loud children, and I think we accidentally left a bit of a mess, but we were met with nothing but gracious, understanding, generous servers. The food and atmosphere was great, but the service was exceptional. I didn't get their names, but I wish I could thank them personally.

Not the sub that I was looking for. When ordering a sub for most other places, you get lettuce mayo mustard and other condiments on your sub for $10 Not too sure about the 45 sauce. Meat was not bad.  But for the price of this seven inch sub , there are better places for comparable price. Heard they had a good caramel brownie for 4 dollars. But when I got back to eat my food? I opened the bag and there was no brownie in there. I was kind Disappointed and looking forward to what this brownie would taste like. Might would have been the best part about the whole meal. Not sure if I will be back or not. I called them and they did offer a refund for the brownie. But I still need my dessert.

My first visit to Groucho’s was overall a pleasant experience. A little confusing initially with where to order/sit for dining in, but once I placed my order at the counter everything went smoothly. Really good club on sub roll stacked ridiculously high. Coleslaw was unique and delicious. Great customer service, very friendly staff. The restaurant itself was a little worn and the tables could use to be wiped down, but overall a good experience. Pricy for a sub, but then again it’s a lot of food per serving and the location is in the heart of downtown so it’s to be expected. Would recommend.

First timer, can’t wait to come again and try something else. Had their club BLT and it was fantastic. Very generous with the bacon too! The server/cashier had a smile on her face during my entire visit and was running around taking care of customers. Thanked me for my visit upon paying, a small gesture but one people rarely do these days. Highly recommended.

First time dining in at Groucho’s and was very pleased with the customer service from the waiter. I wish I had gotten his name but I forgot to ask so whomever was working around 4pm on Friday the 21st, thank you for providing excellent service. I tried the Groucho’s BLT which was delicious, next time I order it I will ask for it without the third piece of bread. Because it is triple layer-personal preference the pasta salad is delicious, I liked the cauliflower and carrots in it. The chips were almost near perfect, they were thin but crunchy and not overly salty. The waiter also provided me with the house sauce to try since it was my first time visiting and it reminded me of a sweeter thousand island dressing. Nonetheless it was tasty for dipping my chips and sandwich in it. The sweet tea is a must order, it is literally just right as far as sweetness and the ice makes it 2x better. The atmosphere is clean and spacious, good food and awesome sweet tea. I would definitely add Groucho’s to the list of “must try’s”. I will be back again!

Great Groucho’s location. It’s never supper packed when I happen to go so the service is always too tier. Drinks are never empty and the food is always good. Always love stopping in for a hot lunch sub when I am in the area. But I do still have a special place in my heart for Andy’s Deli in Columbia, SC.

Ordered to-go over the phone for lunch during a weekday. On the phone I was told 10-15min and the food would be ready. However, when I arrived 25mins after ordering the food was not ready for pick-up. I had to wait about 5mins at the restaurant for my order to be ready. The extra sauce was not in the bag when I checked the order before leaving. The ladies working the counter quickly fixed the issue and I paid with little difficulty. Food tasted great! Indoor seating only at this location.

Always love an stp. I’ve pretty much only had good experiences here except recently when I walked in for a late lunch on Sunday and the punk high school kid behind the counter said “okay but just so you know we close in 40 minutes”. I don’t think I’ve ever taken 40 minutes to eat at a Groucho’s. I don’t think anybody has ever taken 40 minutes to eat at one. Very rude to tell your customers you’re closing in 40 minutes as you’re still pretty far off from closing. Maybe hire some people that are older than 15

This is a biased review as I grew up and love Grouchos. I only order the STP, and it might as well be the only item on their huge menu. Favorite downtown quick lunch spot.Food: 5/5

I've eaten here twice in a week and both times were very good. The first time was a STP Dipper takeout order which still tasted amazing by the time I ate it 15 minutes later. The second time was dining in for lunch. The wait staff was nice and the food did not take very long.Food: 5/5
