They aren't always on time. But one driver her name is Deanna is always friendly and does her best to get us there and picked up. Shes as sweet as can be.

My 83 year old mother scheduled a driver to pick her up from her beauty shop appointment this morning at 9:30 and then take her to a local grocery store and then to take her home. The driver picked her up on time at the beauty shop and my mother told her she would be about an hour at the grocery store. The driver told her to call the office number when she was ready to be picked up from the grocery store. After her hour at the grocery store, my mother called the office number 6 times over twenty minutes and got voicemail each time. She called my sister who also called the Grove Transit office twice and got voicemail. My sister then called me and I left work to pick my mother up. She stood outside the local store for over 40 minutes by the time I got there. At no point did anyone from Grove Transit call my mother to check on her nor did the driver bother to come back by the grocery store after an hour to pick her up or check on her. At 4:30 this afternoon someone from the company called my mother to see if there had been a problem as the driver had not been paid. My mother told the woman what happened and she said she was out to lunch at that time but would check on what happened. This is totally unacceptable. We will never use this service again. For a company who advertises that they provide safe and reliable services for elders they failed miserably today.

Worst damn company ever ! They can never get us to our appointments on time. They can never pick us up in a timly fashion and they have the worst employees.

I was scheduled for a colonoscopy at MHG (Gulfport) on 4/5/17. I was given two transport companies by my doctor's office since the person I would have asked to transport me had sprung her big, right toe so badly, it was thought she had broken it and was no longer able to drive for a while. I called the Grove, was told the charge of $25 for the transport and made the arrangements. The Grove driver called me when I expected him to on the morning of the 5th, had no problem getting me to MHG and was a pleasant ride even though I felt tired, hungry and exhausted. Surgery scheduled for 7:15 am.The attempt by the Grove to return me home was a fiasco! I did not take my cell phone with me as I consider it to be valuable and I was alone. One of the main things one is told to not bring to surgery is no valuables! I was aroused from surgery about 10:15 am. My nurse tried calling the Grove for my pickup around 11am, she had to leave a message. Because I was alone, the hospital had to keep me according to procedure until they deemed it safe. The nurse tried a 2nd time much later, told the people there I did not have my cell phone with me, in case they were calling me on my phone, she also gave them where I would be for pickup. It got to be 1, then 1:30 pm when I called my dear friend "daughter", who had the injured toe to come and get me when she should not have been driving. I called the Grove, told them what happened, said I should be refunded some of my money, the supervisor there said I could only be refunded the mileage amount from the hospital to my house which was $4.00. I said send it to me. After I have paid out $25 for a round trip! What a poor example of customer service! Not well done The Grove, not your finest hour!
