Brought the family for our summer vacation and absolutely loved the place and it's location. The Property Manager Brian, is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING person - He went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect. Brian and his staff addressed all needs we had immediately so that we did not have any issues. We loved that the river was just a short walk down the hill and the pool directly across from our room. The picnic tables and grills scattered all across the property definitely came in handy. We will DEFINITELY be coming back again next summer with our whole crew!

Good news/my bed was clean and comfy. The pool and grounds look cute. Bad news: The WiFi can only be accessed in the office. There was no hair dryer. My friends found a half of an old burger in the cabinet and their bed squeaked soooo bad. The shower head sprayed water in every direction but where I was.. The kitchen drawers open funky and generally the room wasn’t very clean. It was a beautiful night so we decided to sit by the river and enjoy the full moon. Unfortunately the trees were infested with tent caterpillars which dropped off the trees onto us. We tried to sit there but after smashing caterpillars that were crawling on us for a few minutes we had to go back to our rooms. I took off my clothes and shook them out. Two more caterpillars were still on me. I smashed them and tossed them on the trash and went to bed. Nope,

Great location. Rooms are being nicely remodeled. Management is personable and accommodating.

The front desk people were very kind to us when we checked in and on the phone and email. We had a situation that was taken care of without hesitation. BUT cleaning staff, we did not have our trash emptied one single day (4 nights, 5 days). We had two clean towels put on the counter tops And/or on the dresser for us to use. Dirty washcloths were left in our room. The website says it is smoke free. There were people smoking outside our room including staff who were on break right outside our room. When I pulled out clothes from the dresser drawer they smelled of cigarette smoke. Please don't advertise smoke free if it is not.

This place is an overpriced motel. Our refrigerator wouldn't fully close and we couldn't keep our food cold. The condensation leaked onto the kitchen floor and left it wet. The fitted sheet didn't fit the king bed and was a constant battle. The futon (which sleeps 2 supposedly) was so think and worn out no one could possibly sleep there. I'm so disappointed at the cost of this place ($250 a night). I chose it as a river front lodge but our room was closer to the highway. I won't stay here again and would not recommend it to my friends. They also came to clean our room while we were out and made the bed but left all the dirty towels and washrags without replacing them. To call this room rustic would be way overselling it. It was awful.
