I’ve discovered a gem in the city’s Korean BBQ scene, and it’s all thanks to Brian, the incredibly kind owner who manages the business with grace. Their restaurant’s dedication to customer safety is evident in every detail, making the grilling process a worry free delight. The portions here are not only generous but also boast high quality meat, making the price well worth it. Brian’s meticulous training of the staff ensures a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Having explored various Korean BBQ places, this one, is undeniably my favorite. The comfortable seating is perfect for gatherings with friends and family, enhancing the overall experience. What truly sets this place apart is the authenticity of the cooking style, transporting me to Korea with every visit. The food is consistently fresh, and the traditional preparation adds a unique touch. In summary, if you’re looking for an authentic, safe, and consistently excellent Korean BBQ experience, this place is unparalleled. Look no further!
If you're looking for new experience for Korean BBQ, i would recommend this place. Their meat is good, the seasoning pretty spicy. Their side dishes are great, I recommend the spicy squid. The ordering process will confuse you a bit. Everything is good.
Had late night eats here with a group of friends. Skewers and side dishes were great. The meat was well marinated and delicious. Our only complaint was that the rice cake skewers were extremely hard and not the typical texture of rice cake. We got one of the combos for five people and it was reasonably priced and fed us. The tables are quite small though, we had a group of five and the largest table seems to only really seat 4.
I've been thinking about this spot for a long time, and it did not disappoint. The skewer rotating mechanism is so lit, it provided so much entertainment and as a student studying engineering, it was awe inspiring which is why I did an entire photoshoot. The marinated galbi beef skewers were also inspiring, the other skewers such as lamb were also great but the galbi beef is a must pick. The sausage and rice cake skewer wasn't bad but could be better. If you are here with just one other person, I recommend buying around 5-7 sets of skewers, and some rice - the sides will supplement the rest. It works out to around $30 each after tax! Combo A is looking kinda nice too, I will return for that. Also the service is good!
Hands down the best skewers place in Toronto! 24 skewers, a full plate of beef intestines dish, tofu stew and cold noodles ONLY came out to be a total of $65. Food tasted amazing and the service was phenomenal as well. We’ll definitely visit again!Food: 5/5
Found this super cute korean bbq place on tiktok and had to go in person. We paid a table price, about $90 divided by 4 people which gave us a variety of different meats and side dishes. The food, atmosphere, and customer service were all 10/10. Even though it wasn’t all you can eat, the food was super filling. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes korean food and I can’t wait to go back again!
It was our first time being at a Korean skewer place and certainly won’t be our last! The “Combo A” was a really good deal. They give you 22 skewers, a stone bowl of rice/noodle, and a side, for $62! The skewers are juicy and marinated well, and the other dishes were great too. They also give you complimentary side dishes, just like any other Korean restaurant, so you’re really getting a bang for your buck.
I had a fantastic experience at Gui Gui Korean Skewer BBQ! This place is a gem for enjoying Korean food experience. The food was incredibly tasty, and the service was top-notch with remarkable speed. One thing to note is that there's a minimum order quantity of 5 items for two people, but it's well worth it. The skewers come with complementary dishes, and the best part is that you can ask for refills without any extra charge. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in delicious Korean BBQ!
Great skewers place which is fun to autocook yourself. They have a grill and a mechanism to auto-rotate skewers. We got a combo of 9 skewers 7 meat and 2 others plus some other choice of dishes. We got the seafood pancake side and the kimchi fried rice which were great. Seafood pancake was crispy which I like as some places don’t make it that way. We had grilled squid and cheese corn as well. Though I didn’t take pictures of those. Boo me With 3 people we were quite full. You just have to watch the skewers in case you’re engrossed in conversation. There is a rack at the top to save them. Atmosphere is great. Would got back.
The Combo A for 2 people is a great deal and very filling, it comes with 6 skewers, 1 Noodle or Rice and 1 Side Order! The meat skewers were so juicy and flavourful! I would definitely come back :Food: 5/5
