Very costly! My dog has stomach sensitivity issues. This bet recommended we switch him to the Hills Prescription Diet which runs $40 for an 8lb bag. My dog goes through that bag with a week and a half. The next size up is a 17lb bag for $80. Because this food is beginning to become more like a financial strain, I asked for a recommendation of a food close to the hills. The Vet's recommendation was to "keep him on the food." With no regard that maybe some people cannot afford to pay for this high priced food. Then I spent over $150 getting his flea medicine just 4 days ago. Paying almost $70 for the flea medicine. Well because my dog has KNOWN stomach sensitivities, the Bravecto did not settle with his stomach and he threw up the medicine. I called today to find out what I needed to do. The vet told me I had to repurchase the bravecto. Yes RE-PURCHASE! I'm looking for a new vet because this vet hospital only cares about the money. Very disgusted in this business and I will NOT recommend this vet.

Brought in my bunny when he broke his toe. They did an X-ray and gave him some meds. I had also asked them to clip his nails while he was calmed to reduce risk of him breaking other toes but they forgot to do so. They also didn't bandage up his foot at all, despite telling me that they would do so. Thankfully he has recovered well but i won't be going back here again.

They are absolutely the best! I wouldn't take my 2 babies anywhere else. The front desk is so great! The grooming dept is great. I kept them there for a week once and they sent me emails with pictures during our trip! They are so sweet and really care about my little family! ❤️

I came here for a second opinion on my cat. Since the last vet basically wanted me to put my 8 year old cat/family to sleep. I was so blown away when i asked to rerun his labs they said no. And this was the best thing i did for my cat. OH my they are the best. The staff is so caring. They take alot of time explaining the issues that are going on with you pet. They really listen to your concerns and don't rush in and out of the room. It was less stressful on the animal. I love this veterinary. And totally recommend them to everyone.

I cannot express how WONDERFUL I think Guilford-Jamestown Veterinary Hospital is. From the friendly office staff to the awesome and dedicated doctors. My dog has many health issues and I am what some might call a "frequent flyer" and yet they never act as if my concerns aren't important. I've always been able to get an appointment quickly and they are awesome at letting me walk in with an emergency. My dog feels so at home there and honestly loves walking through the door. She and I have always been treated so kindly and with such respect. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
