Guitar Center is great place to shop for guitar and learn about what you're buying. This is true for pretty much any Guitar Center because everyone who works there is a guitar person.... But this particular Guitar Center out does even the best. Thank you Eric who helped us picked out a fantastic fender Telecaster and really made us feel like we were getting the right guitar. You took an incredible amount of time 2 talk and you are never pushy just super helpful and knowledgeable. The choice of guitars here is amazing if you don't live near Miami this is worth the drive.

We went there to buy a guitar and we had any idea about guitars or what to buy. The staff helped us a lot! They gave us so many tips and even one of the employees taught me the right way to hold a guitar. It was an awesome experience.

Later that day when we got home, I was tuning the guitar and I broke one string. The next day we came back to the store and the same guy who sold us the guitar put a new string and taught us how to tune it.

The staff is super awesome. The store is nice, really nice. They have a lot of instruments and you can try as many as you want.

I definitely recommend this store over any other. We went to Sam Ash and we didn’t like it at all.

This music store is basically the only one you need in the Broward county area. The acoustic guitar section is my favourite. Great sounding Gibsons...Martins...Fenders. Banjos...Mandolins. of course the electric guitar section is also out of this world. All the equipment you need is there...keyboards...drums..microphones: you name it. Any gadget you may want you can also find there. They even change your strings if you're lazy like me.

I recently purchased a Limited Custom Shop strat from this store, and had it shipped to me. The guitar was purchased from someone new, and returned to the store - so essentially it was an open box item. I paid $3,000 for the guitar, and received it with a non matching case that has a huge stain on it. Secondly the selector switch cap was missing. Thirdly the middle pickup doesn't work, it has barely any volume. I contacted Guitar Center support immediately, they told me to bring it in to my local store. Had the guitar looked at, and they have confirmed there is an issue with the pickup. I'm going on two weeks, and all issues are still present. Terrible experience.

Good, not in-your-face salesperson staff. You can wander the store and play with the instruments without much interruption from anyone, unless you are looking for help.

I think the staff can pick up on people who are just there to mess around and people who are ready to buy or need some assistance. I think that's an indication of a well-trained and experienced group.

Not many music shops around anymore, even big places like this are dissapearing. Good to know there's a brick-n-mortar music shop still around where you can play around with instruments without high-pressure salespeople.
