Tried this Pakistani restaurant couple of weeks ago. Have passed by couple of time but did not get the chance to try out.  Service & Ambiance- -The ambiance is pretty traditional and good. -Neat and clean space. -Plenty of sitting. -Service is okayish and a bit slow.  Food - we tried chicken biryani and kebabs. The biryani was very good. Did not like the kebab dish was a very bland Will visit again and try more dishes  Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I had a lunch and it was a nice experience, they have indoor and outdoor seating area. fine dining and hygiene and clean restaurant. One of the best place to eat food if you are concerned about hygiene and cleanliness. The service was quick and staff was helpful. Owner came and ask about the food quality. We tried pulao it was fine, alo qeema was good. Fried fish was nice served with French fries, the shami kebab was good and need more time to cook. Chicken karahi was just fine, need to improve the taste but traditional way of cooking.  On the whole it was good but I loved the hygiene and cleanliness so will come back again. Taste need to be improved with right ingredient and right spices in appropriate quantity.

This was my another exploration of authentic Pakistani Karahi and ordered Gulberg Special Goat Karahi and Naan based on owner’s recommendation.  Food’s presentation and appearance were good and appealing but not had that authentic preparation. Taste was ok but missing its root. More like a Goat curry. Goat meat quality needs improvement- meat had smell and was from an old breed.  Considering it’s high price, $40 for a Karahi - I would stay away from 2nd visit and do not recommend if you are looking for authentic Karahi. It was an average quality food compare to its price tag.

We visited Gulberg Bistro and had such amazing breakfast. We had halwa puri, channa, aloo bujia, paya and naan. I had mango lassi and chai as well. Everything was cooked to perfection. The halwa puri were hot and steamy fresh just out of the oil. We loved everything and enjoyed a good desi Pakistani breakfast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is a family type restaurant. 10/10 will be back

One of the finest goat paaya I've had in the last 6 months. It reminds me all of the taste we used to get back in Lahore   Ugh.. Nostalgia   Staff showed their love and courtesy. Would definitely recommend it to everyone who is in dire cravings of Authentic Desi food here in US.

Not a paid review. We were waiting for a person in our party so we started with drinks. 1 **Doodh Patti Plain, 2 Lassi 1 Sweet & 1 Salty. Since we were literally the first customers our Lassi’s came within few minutes and then came my **Doodh Patti.  I know Milk is protein but little I know I was served Protein plus Insect infused “Drink. It was just disgusting as first thing in the morning you don’t want this experience. I should have walked away. But because of my friends stayed and continued to place the order.  I showed it to my server and first she said sir it is Malai but then looking closely she apologized and replaced it.  We asked our server for recommendations. She said our Paya and Halwa Poori is highly recommended.  We placed 3 orders of Halwa Poori and One order of Paya with Sesame Naan. Food was served in a reasonable time and quantity was OK. Now let’s decipher the dishes served.  Paya trotters – You can ask any true Paya Eater, this is not how paya is made. It was laced with so much oil and spices that first bite literally punches you hard in your throat and forbids you of the next bite. We told the server as well. When she took the food back that this was no good.  Naan – Nothing Fancy one was good and one was burnt.  Halwa Poori Platter Channa, Aloo Tarkari, Halwa and 2 Poori’s – Living in USA for 20+ years this has to be the best Aloo Tarkari I have tasted in a restaurant. Channa was very decent for Poori. Halwa was just meh.. Nothing special. Our Party received total of 6 Poori’s 2 were perfect, 2 were burnt and the remaining 2 were extremely oily. No Consistency of food coming out of the kitchen. One of our friend in the party met an acquaintance who sent us Kheer from the menu. Kheer was decent and better than most Desi Restaurants in NJ.  The owner Qamar also paid a visit to our table and sent complimentary tea. I wish I could say a few better things but there is no excuse for first thing in the morning to have this experience. I hope for others it’s a better experience.

The food was incredibly delicious. We had a party order from Gulberg Bistro and it was very well managed. The tray portions were great and the most important thing was that every single guest loved the food.  My personal favourite from them is Lahori chargha and chicken karahi

Gulberg Bistro opened recently in the area in the middle of covid craziness. We thought we will give it a shot so called them and placed the order. I was told to come and pick it up after 30 mins. We went to pick it up after 40 mins maybe and then got to know that no order was registered on phone hence the food was not ready. The lady in the counter was very nervous bcz of this and she told me she will get it ready as soon as she can and send it to my car. The baby started crying in the car so we came down and waited outside where we met the owner. He apologized again and assured the food will be there soon. We waited patiently. They were nice enough to give us the entire order free of cost. I really appreciate this gesture because they put us first.  So now let’s talk about the food. We ordered cheese naan, mutton biriyani, beef behari kebab and chicken cheese kebab. The kids were very hungry so they ended up eating the naan in the car and I m glad we did bcz we ate it hot. It was soft, gooey, cheesy and just plain yum !!! The biriyani was 8 on 10. I loved the texture of the rice but it could use a little more mutton I felt.... The kebabs were outstanding!! I am so happy that now we don’t have to drive to Edison Shalimar for these kebabs. In fact Gulberg’s kebab are better !!  Will go back soon for a real dine in experience!! Highly recommended if you love meats !!!  Updated Review: Jan 17, 2022  I am giving this place a 5 star. I did go back for a dine in. The food was excellent and delicious. Service and cleanliness was impeccable. We ordered Beef Bihari kebab which was way better than Shalimar. We also got halwa puri that my son loved. Ordered keema paratha and dal makhani and both were delicious. Had a great experience. One of the best Pakistani restaurant in the area. Highly recommended !!

Best Goat Karahi and Goat chops … i have been to so many restaurants butt Gulberg Bistro is the only restaurant sells original Baby Goat Karahi with no smell in meat at all ….

I came here after hearing about this place from friends in a conversation or two. Very clean and vibrant. The food was ok. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. It's a bit pricy but it might be competitive for the area that it's in. I probably won't be coming back here unless it was convenient or if there was nothing else in the area I couldn't try. It's a one timer for me. Again, not bad or anything! Just ok in my opinion. Please don't judge by just this one review. I believe you should definitely try it once. It may be your cup of tea.
