-UPDATE- Today is now Monday 11/13/2017 and my paycheck that was supposed to be in my account on Friday 11/10/2017 is STILL not there. I checked back with my boss and still, GCCFCU took my pay roll out of their bank account AND HAS YET TO RELEASE IT TO ME. Yes, I've had much larger deposits in my account so no there is no hold on my paycheck. Being that I was supposed to move into my new home SATURDAY my electricity and cable has been turned off. Imagine waking up this morning to NO ELECTRICITY!!!!!! This is COMPLETELY disrespectful, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! DO NOT BANK WITH GULF COAST COMMUNITY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've made MANY attempts to contact Jessica and June. Both unresponsive! I will be contacting my attorney because this is simply beyond me!!!!!! --- First Comment: Truthfully, myself and this bank has had a slight love hate relationship since i've opened by account maybe 6 months ago. I've very appreciative that they financed my vehicle, and about how apologetic they are when things from their end mess up. This is not a comment to purposely bash this bank, but to share my experiences. After following their orders with things they granted me a loan to move to Nashville. I was told that everything would still be okay because they're just a phone call away. No. A phone call will have you waiting at least an hour. If you make payments early like me, dont worry... Your loan account will STILL withdraw the payment out. So yeah, you'll be paying twice every month so my advice would be to just let the automatic payment come through. Anyways, my new job here in Nashville set up direct deposit. GCCFCU received my payroll and withdrew it from my jobs account. They did NOT deposit it into my account. Still, with keeping my calm my job printed off a check for me. Usually when I use the mobile deposit option, I deposit my check before 2pm because I know if I do that, it will be deposited around 4:30pm. Well yesterday, was completely different. Because of GCCFCU I have to go this entire weekend with literally no money. Yes.. Absolutly no money. No groceries for my home, No gas for my vehicle, I can not move into my new home like I was supposed to TODAY. Veterans day is today, Saturday; however, they closed their bank on yesterday, Friday. Being that I have to wait until Monday to move into my new home, I have to miss work just to move. Guess who will be losing more money just because he has to miss work. Me. Not GCCFCU, but me. Me banking here has not been a complete nightmare, but it has not been a safe haven either. Hopefully by Monday my paycheck will have been deposited. If not, I will just wait patiently until it is deposited. Afterwards I will be removing my funds and closing my account. Something like this is completely unacceptable. My best advice for GCCFCU is to at least get a 24/7 line that can assist customers in crisis' like this. To the future customer, if you plan on banking here please make sure that you have a separate bank because things will more than likely go wrong.

Completely horrible. I called and called. No anwser or i stayed on the phone for more than 1 hour. It took them more than a month for a call back. I receive a email saying I was denied. Well. Okay.

I've been a customer with this bank for over a decade. I've stayed with this bank even having moved away to the Pacific Northwest. But today was the last straw. It's impossible to reach anyone quickly with this bank. Wait times to speak with anyone always last over half an hour. I dread calling and hearing, "you are caller number. . . 15." Never fails. They're great if you have bad credit or just starting out, as was I at 18. They financed me for a vehicle and I felt like I should "make roots" with a bank. After that first loan I've not gotten another because they never can beat any other financial institution which is a shame. I've had so many occasions over the past 10 years where I couldn't access my money, including today. I called and spoke with someone who assured me I'd be able to purchase over their low set, $1500 limit. Went to swipe my card for a house full of furniture only for it to be declined. That was it. Time to move on. ✌🏼 GCCFCU.

Love this bank. I love the people that work here. BUT, in order to apply for a loan i have to leave a message. I left a message earlier today and still no call back. I have never heard of that coming from a bank.

I just want to say that I had the very best experience using Gulf Coast Community Federal Credit Union in the purchase of my new home! Becky Necaise and Cory Boles were both so kind! I recommend Gulf Coast Community Federal Credit Union, they treated me like I was a person not just a business opportunity!
