The store opened in this location in May 2002.

We are a retail gun store that carries a full line of long-guns and handguns as well as black powder accessories. Special orders are welcome! Gun cleaning is available.

CHL Classes - The 10 hour class is offered once a month and is held on a Saturday. The cost of the class is $125. The fee includes photos, lunch and use of the on-site range. Reservations are required.

This place is amazing. I had a problem with my para ordnance. After taking it to two shops who basically were no help at all and one took 6 days to even call me back. I was told by a friend that the shak is the only place he will go. Well I now I know why, the gentlemen who helped me called me back in less than 24hrs!!! He was very nice and very helpful, couldn't have asked for more. He found a piece that would work, and even took my gun out back to test fire it. He didn't even want me to pay him but that's just too much so I gave him a little tip for his amazing effort and great customer service. Seriously guys, can it get any better than that???? I will never ever step foot into any shop but this one as long as I'm within 100 miles of it. AAA+++

The people aren't nice.  They snap at you before you can finish a sentence and if you bring up a suggestion to help them from being liable of being sued they practically kick you out and accuse you of trying to mess with their property. Not easy to work with and put on a front to seem nice.

Worth the drive, they've earned our repeat business.  The prices are fair, the staff/owners are knowledgeable, and they teach CHL course too.

Beverly makes purchasing and looking for guns a breeze.  She is a great gun dealer, and can help you order a gun if she does not have it.  James is very helpful up there too.  This is the only gun store I deal with!!
