I can never get my kids in for same day service when they are sick. I was once told that my daughter (who had strep) couldn't be seen until  a full week later. Which is not acceptable. Today, I've been trying to call since 8am and their message says they open at 8. At 8:30, I'm still getting their recording that they are closed. Horrible clinic.

We regularly use this clinic and have never had issue. They even find time to squeeze in my son for same day service every time we need it. Great Doctors and excellent staff!

I usually go to Dr. Garren's office-Gunnison Family Physicians-and have NEVER run into any problems. I went to this particular doctors office January 2nd simply because I needed to see a doctor soon, and I wasn't able to wait until my regular doctor could get me in. How I regret that decision!! Not only did I have to wait a very long time to see Dr. Pam Von Matthison, but she had me take a pregnancy test AFTER I told her I had already done so!!! Only to find it negative (like I had said it would be) and then she proceeded to leave me in the doctor's room while she called my regular doctor (who was on vacation) and asked him what to do! The man was on vacation! How was he supposed to look at my charts and get an idea of what was going on?!! Then she gave me a pill and told me to "try it" and see if it helps. I was then charged over $90 basically to take a pregnancy test and have her call my doctor. Ridiculous!! I paid my co-payments, gave them my insurance information and left. Never heard a thing from them for MONTHS!! When my husband and I moved OUT of state AND set up a forwarding address, this doctor's office tried once to send me a bill once. It was returned to them and although they had my phone number, they just sent the bill to a collection agency who said it was going on my credit report that I owe debts!! WTF? I called the doctor's office and the billing lady says to me "Oh, your insurance returned it and said it would be part of your deductible. We did get the mail returned to us. I see we still have your phone number, I'm sorry. Maybe we should have called you. But if you can just pay that soon before the collection agency submits it on your credit report."
I am SO angry! What very poor, VERY POOR service. An idiot doctor, incompetent staff, and TERRIBLE customer service! I have NEVER had this issue with Dr. Bonney in the hospital, or any of the doctors at Gunnison Family Physicians. Please don't waste your time going here!
