I took a trip to Greenbelt after reading an article where this place was listed as having the best fried chicken. We came in and were greeted by the friendly manager who gave us some fried Okra. It was delicious! They had special going on so we ordered that and it was super affordable. Initially, they gave us the wrong sides but quickly fixed the problem and even let us keep the extra sides they had given us. Our waiter was super amazing! He was kind, courteous, and attentive. Now for the food...
The chicken had a perfect crispy crunchy texture to it.

 However, I wish there was more seasoning..other then just the chili powder ( This coming from a extreme spicy lover)... such as garlic or something as it tasted a bit one note. The baked beans were my favorite side. The greens,coleslaw and potato salad all needed more seasoning and tasted a bit too plain. 

The desserts we ordered were spectacular! I highly recommend the chocolate chess pie. Over all, this place is pretty good but those sides really need more seasoning! If I'm ever in the area I'll probably come by and get some chicken and some dessert! The hospitality really is what makes this place a winner.

It was my first visit yesterday and I really enjoyed my carry out meal. Marlon, great smile and fun man, took my 2 piece dark meat plate order but I customized it to legs/drums only. Cole slaw and potatoe salad were my choice of sides and they were both great tasting. I added fried green tomatoes and was very happy that the coating was delicious. I wish they had the spicy mayo dipping sauce for them but they were fabulous plain. I also added a slice of sweet potato pie that later fell flat on the floor of my vehicle. 

I was back in the area later and told my story of why I was returning so soon and was greeted with a cup of fried okra from the owner Mark.  Not one to eat okra normally, Marlon suggested ketchup for flavor and he was absolutely right. After hearing my story, Mark walked off, grabbed another slice of pie and handed it to me. This made my whole day and sir you have my sincere respect.o I will be returning soon and I have passed the word as well as the pile of menus I grabbed. I will take pics next time to show anyone and everyone who knows just how much I love food. Too bad I did not read the words “Hot and Spicy” that’s big as day on the menu being so hungry for great food. That spice burn was not pretty but I didn’t leave a grumbling that’s for sure.

We love Guy's fried chicken. The food is always excellent. The staff are always nice and friendly. Also they make great recommendation when you don't know what you wanna eat or drink.

This was my first and last time purchasing food from this restaurant.  The staff is nice, but food was overpriced and taste awful.  If I could give it zero stars for the food, I would. The wings were extremely spicy and too salty, mac n cheese consisted of over cooked pasta and cheese "sauce" that was so poorly mixed I could taste the graininess of the flour in the sauce, and the greens taste like they came out of can and were much too salty.  Batter on fried green tomatoes thick, doughy, and just not good....even the tomato inside had a strange flavor.  When food does not taste appealing I still don't like to waste/throw it away, but the trash got most of what I paid $20 for.

I've ate at Gus many times growing up with a location right across from my parents home. When I found this location, I was so excited. The chicken reminded me of home but the sides did not. The sides did taste store bought which is what I told the server. Didn't taste the same but they may have changed the formula.  Not expensive. Will return for chicken only.
