Across the street from the fire department, adjacent to the railroad tracks, adorned with flowerpots on the windows and underneath a fluttering American flag, a little piece of America. Gwendy's Goodies is at the heart of Main Street USA and offers a taste of home. This is absolutely the one thing you must experience if you happen through one of America's finest small towns, Ayden North Carolina. The cookies, cupcakes, muffins breads and cakes stand on their own, but the honest ambience and genuine people behind the counter, complete the picture. Love the food. Love the place. Love the people.

Great locationally owned and run shop. Have a large selection where there is no bad choices. There is a nice play area for kids. Good place to go have a coffee and a snack and do some work or hangout with friends.

My family and I come here all the time and it's a real treat for us. The staff is phenomenal, the food is AMAZING and the atmosphere feels like home. I cannot recommend it enough.
