Great stop on way to visit daughter!! Friendly service and food was so tasty! Will have to stop again and try breakfast items!Food: 5/5

Absolutely the best Gyro I have ever had. The meat is well seasoned and have a nice texture. The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean and well kept. The best Greek restaurant I have been too, been coming here from out of state for years, it is such a shame that such a wonderful place is closing after tomorrow. Hopefully someone will purchase rights to the name and the food. Congrats to the family for 33 years of awesome service. I will always have great memories of this place.

The atmosphere is typical Greek restaurant style,  welcoming, fast paced, you can see the cooks cooking.  The service is top notch.  Servers help each other out, no matter who has the table, never had an empty water glass, food came quickly.  I had Chicken Dumpling soup that was delicious.  I also ordered the Italian Beef Sandwich with fries.  The beef didn't have much flavor, the au jus helped, as did the gardinaere ?, but overall the sandwich was meh.  I'll go back and get a gyro, which I should have done in the first place.  The fries were good when they were hot, though they needed salt.  I loved their menu, lots of things I wanted to try, so will definitely go back.

First time that I visit this square, I approved the gyro for the first time, I liked it.  So if you are looking to experience or eat gyro this is the place.  The place offers a quiet, clean environment and attentive staff.  What they should improve a little is to keep track of their closing hours, and not make the client feel rushed, because they want to close;  The tension is noticeable and some must eat quickly or carry food home, for bothering us, it is better to let the entrance know that they are closing soon;  so the customer knows if they stay in the area or order to go.  But their service and food is good.  Parking: Avalible all.  Kid-friendliness: No problem with baby.

Too sad they’re going out of business but had to get lunch here while they’re still around & probably the best meal I’ve ever had there. I ordered the gyro with the Greek friesFood: 5/5

The food was very good BUT Saturday December 23, 2023 is their VERY LAST day in business. As they are PERMANENTLY closing at the end of business on December 23, 2023. The server informed us the building has been sold, will be razed, and a Subaru car dealership will be built in its place. There are a whole gaggle of car dealerships in that immediate area and they are building a new Subaru car dealership in that location to replace a delicious restaurant. So sad

Leo is an amazing and awesome host / owner!  His pops is a very nice man too!  But let's talk about the food now. It is made to order and served very quickly.  The portions are large and most likely you will be taking home a doggy bag ! The taste is always top notch and very comforting. True Waukesha staple that does not disappoint.  Thank you Gyros West for your great service and food.

My favorite restaurant in Wisconsin hands down. I spent my summers here helping Lisa and Julie for the 5am shift. I will certainly miss this place and the wonderful families that have called it home for a generation.

Phenomenal service and food this morning at Gyros West. It was a Sunday morning, so understandably busy. Within a minute of us sitting down, the owner came over and apologized we didn’t have drinks yet and immediately brought us some of course, this was no issue at all, we had just sat down! Our order was taken very shortly after that by our waitress and the food was brought out in no time by another, tasting as delicious as it looked. It’s very clear they work as a team here and their top priority is making sure customers have a great dining experience. It’s very appreciated, and although I hadn’t been in a while, I can’t wait to come back. Thanks for the great service, friendly faces, and delicious food.
