The BEST PLACE TO SHOP!! When I moved to Houston, a social media friend who lived here recommended I try HEB because I didn’t like the other grocery stores. Best recommendation ever! I love HEB, the store is always clean, the staff is great, Wide variety of everything, vegan options, fresh bread and cake, wine selection. Overall great store

Love HEB. Easily my favorite grocery store. Hill country fare products are just as good as the name brand at a cheaper price. The store is clean and well laid out. In addition to that, they were one of the places that really helped in the aftermath of Harvey

This place is what you would expect from a grocery store in the heart of River Oaks. Incredible over-the-top beautiful parking areas with lots of shade trees that are fully grown. Busy employees everywhere you look on the inside which is full of very high-end groceries, such as fish with names you can't pronounce and vegetables you've never seen before! Never a wait at the checkout area with smiles all around.

I always feel a little lift when I arrive at this H.E.B. because of all the trees in the parking lot. For decades this block was occupied by apartments that probably were built in the 'thirties, and most, maybe all, the trees were preserved. Aside from that, it's a busy store that always seems to have adequate parking and is well stocked. I've been known to pass several closer groceries, including another H.E.B., to shop here just because I like the vibe.

I love the architecture of the building itself. I think it made me linger in the store more than I would have. There is plenty of parking in the back with a few random trees giving shade. Prices where good and plenty of ready made food to just heat and go. I wish this particular store was in my neighborhood.
