The HEB PHARMACY SUCKS, This is my second time here and the incompetent staff is asking me for a VA FORM so that I may recieve my meds.. I ask what's a va form? The staff says we don't know ... but we need it to give you meds.... WHAT IS A VA FORM. The VA is HUGE and the people that deal with the meds don't know what forms are needed to service vets. Poor. I have been to this pharmacy 3 times and every time I come here my doctor has to resend the prescription. 1st time they had the doctor send it again. Second time they didn't have the doctor on file so they had to call them. Third time they received the doctors first prescription but not the second so they told me to call my doctor who then told them to call him so he could tell them personally what he already sent. When we went to pick the prescription up 15 min later they still said they didn't have it after telling us it would be ready soon. They said they didn't have that prescription when clearly the lady behind the counter was filling ours didn't tell them. 10 more min later we payed for both and were on our way. When we got home we received a phone call notifying us that our prescriptions are ready to pick up. Update 1 year later -07/08/2016 Did not correctly bill my Insurence and i even made them double check than called right in front of them so that my Insurence could tell them they didn't do their job right. Nothings changed. -07/28/2016 Once again I don't know why we come here but it's the only one that our insurance works at and our doctor had to fax over 3 times before they could fill them and when asking for generic brand they said they'd have to ask the doctor first. That's the first time I've ever been asked that

Horrible!! Just horrible! Service is bad. The pharmacy is unorganized and don't have your medication in when they say it will be ready. And then you call the next day to MAKE SURE IT IS READY and they say it's not in the system????!!!! Time to switch pharmacies. Never had this problem until recently, idk if they switched managers or new employees working back there. But this is ridiculous.

Chris at HEB Pharmacy went the extra mile to contact my doctor on my behalf and track down my prescription (after the doctor changed my pharmacy but sent it somewhere other than where they told me). She even called me during the day to update me on her progress getting through and personally called again when it was ready. Superb service!
