My wife and I went in this past Saturday to complete our taxes. With us we brought in a 200 dollar certificate we received after having to pay the IRS 200 dollars for a mistake made by H & R. The lady that helped us was nice. However, we ended up leaving our taxes there overnight because the number she was giving me was around 5k less than what was expected. The next day my wife and I returned to try to "tweak" percentages and deductions to get our refund amount up. The max they were able to get it to was around 2500 less still than what was expected. On top of that she tried to push a signature out of us while we were questioning the numbers. As well our refund was going to cost us an additional 370 dollars on top of our 200 dollar certificate. That wasn't even including their "piece of mind". Which, let's be real, is complete bs. So now that puts us around 3k less than expected as well. After going to Sartell Tax Service. With a CPA who has done our taxes in the past. We got our number to around 1200 less than expected (due to income changes in the last year) of which I was very happy with. As well she only charged us 150 dollars. WAY cheaper than H & R, even with their bs deals. I strongly suggest looking at your options before doing business with them.

its been a month that they mailed my m.n. state taxes and m.n. still don't have any info about my taxes if they even mailed them
