They raised their prices. Kids meals are overpriced & don't even come with a drink. A kids drink is $2.50 ea.!!! The Mac & Cheese they use is the same one you buy for $1.00 a box at the grocery store for which they charge $5.50 for a kid's portion. The food quality is good but in my opinion isn't worth the price they want for it now. Their desserts are overpriced as well. They give you a small portion as well. They charged me $6.50 for a piece of their fried chimichanga cheesecake & the filling was cold. I just spent $60 for myself, my wife, and 3 kids there; I could've eaten better at Chili's, Sweet Tomatoes, or Olive Garden for that price. Will never eat here again for what they are charging.

I've only been to one Habaneros location, but my companions have been to multiple locations multiple times. I don't know why, though. I found the experience disappointing compared to other Mexican restaurants, although admittedly I haven't dined at many in this area. The environment was noisy, as is typical for Mexican restaurants, but the lack of music was a nice touch. Or, at least any music was low enough to not compete with conversation. I was still barely able to have a conversation, but that was due to crowding and an open floor plan. Parking was a little bit of a hassle, with no way to know access is via a previous driveway, well before the sign. Lighting is poor here, an speeds are high, so I had to do a U-turn and try again. The parking areas are crowded and disorganized, with cars parked with little attention paid to marked spaces. I'm not even sure I parked on Habaneros property, but I didn't get towed as most businesses immediately next to here were closed in the evening. But the most important thing is the food, and it was middling. I had Enchiladas Supreme, which is a plate of 4 enchiladas, with no sides (no beans or rice). The enchiladas were too small, covered in way too much lettuce to disguise that fact, and rather tasteless. The fried ice cream was awful. A companion's burrito was swimming in watery cheese sauce (a puddle of water, really, with a tint of white). Overall the portions were small for the price and not particularly good. And although the entrees did come out hot, they came out separately to our table. Our server did his best with the noise and backed-up kitchen, so I have no complaints there. But the food and atmosphere weren't up to my standards. To be clear, I was not expecting "fine dining," but I've loved Mexican food for over 35 years and this is just a "meh" experience.
