My wife & I are regular thrift shoppers and this new store has the highest prices of any Re-store we've been in. They occasionally have half-off days where we do make purchases. We just had one ridiculous experience: 50% off day and we brought a pair of used bi-fold doors up to the checkout and we were told they were full price. Almost too shocked to speak, I asked what else was full price in that store? "Just those doors" I was informed. So watch out for deep BS at the checkout. President Carter would be appalled.

It's got a lot of stuff. If you are on a budget definitely check it out. Some prices seemed high to me (like furniture) but I'm not that knowledgeable about what cost should be. I know cabinets selection is pretty low but cost about 1/10th what new would, but I didn't see any that wouldn't need a lot of work to fix up enough to put them in.... Bathroom selections (except toilets n ugly sinks) also very limited. Flooring and doors are abundant... Plenty of random stuff that looks new in box... Almost anything u can buy at home improvement is here... You really should check it out before buying new I guess 😎 they have h hardware like hinges, door knobs, paint, caulk, glue and even some serious tools like cut off table saws....

I loved it. We purchased a leather rocker/recliner for $50!!! Very clean and well stocked. A bit small though. Its much nicer than some other ones that we have visited

Good source of gently used or overstock building supplies. Also some used furniture and appliances. Small store; not as much variety as I'd like to see.

All of these glowing reviews and the featured picture are for the old location in Mt.Clemens. None of them are relevant to the new location which is a fraction the size with nothing worth buying. Not sure what the reasoning was behind closing a large popular and successful store and opening a tiny one with some overpriced junk 70's furniture and nothing else but hopefully there's a big market in Shelby Twp for hundred dollar beaten up old plywood china hutches.
