This is the restaurant I love the most in Austin City. They serve all kind of authentic Halal Yemeni dishes. We used to drive all the way to Dallas for Hadramout. Those days are over. Now Hadramout is in Austin. Almost every week I'm having Hadramout with my family and friends since they opened. I love all of their dishes. You name it from Mandi, Kabsa, Haneeth, Zurbian to Grilled Fish. I've tried everything. Here is my rating if you want to know about it. Lamb Mandi Very authentic taste 9.4/10 Lamb Kabsa It's one of my favorites 9.5/10 Lamb Haneeth Very tender & flavorful 8.9/10 Zurbian Lamb The most unique one 8.5/10 Grilled Fish over Rice Very flaky & oily. Marinated fish grilled to the perfection. 9.2/10 Chicken Mandi Super soft & juicy 9/10 Chicken Kabsa The chicken is moist & soft 8.5/10 Faham Grilled Chicken over Rice 7.9/10 Beef Samosa Best in the town 9.5/10 Cheese Samosa 7.1/10 Areka It's their slightly sweet dessert dish. Very creamy 8.7/10 Still haven't tried out some of their dishes. I will try 'em anytime soon. The only complain I have and a few of my friends have is that the portions are getting smaller day by day. Other than that they didn't compromise with their quality at all. I really appreciate their hard work. Highly recommended!
It’s one of the good cuisines of the Middle Eastern my favourite, I liked the chicken Haneith and chicken Mindy and lamb Mendy, I ordered some Samosa and the salad and hummus are so delicious.. Parking: It’s take-out location only
Ordered fish and Mandi both were exceptional can’t wait to have them again!Food: 5/5
The place is a food court so there's no actual physical presence of a literal restaurants, lots of other different eateries inside the same complex but one counter. The food was beyond amazing, the cook followed by instructions nicely lol. Its quite a unique concept, you order food through the self order screen, and it gets "delivered" to a mailbox and you receive a text to open the mailbox to have the food. Seemed pretty cool to me, came around closing time and yet the got my order in, the chicken kabsa I feel is good enough for two people comfortably, the price is pretty decent too, boring ambience, should keep extra cutlery/napkins outside. Ample parking. Definitely recommended. Gonna come back for mandi.
I've been a frequent customer of Hadramout for quite some time now, but lately, I've noticed a concerning trend in the quality of their food. The quantity of rice in my orders has been steadily decreasing, leaving me feeling unsatisfied with each meal. Additionally, there have been instances where the sauces appear watery, which detracts from the overall flavor experience. As someone who values consistency and quality in their dining experience, I hope Hadramout addresses these issues promptly to maintain their reputation among loyal customers like myself.
If I could leave more than five stars I would do. The best mandi in Austin, I have never ate anything like this in the US. We have our own restaurant, and I will be their customer because of the tasty and clean food. The service is very nice, especially the Yamane guy he is so respectful.Food: 5/5
Absolute 10/10. Chicken mandi was excellent. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and was basically falling apart between my fingers and it was so juicy. The rice was aromatic and well separated. I genuinely could not find anything to complain about, and I am usually a hard critic and rarely give out perfect reviews.Food: 5/5
Today was the first time i was disappointed with ordering from this place. I always get the grilled chicken with rice and it was like i ordered from somewhere else. the chicken was very dry and did not have the regular spices and the portions were way smaller. well, it was a great run.Food: 1/5
If you want to Experience the taste and heritage of Yemen food, you should try this place. The food is amazing. Specially the grilled chicken is amazing.Food: 5/5
Delicious food! Definitely worth eating it fresh. Taking it home more than a 5 min drive was not the best experience. Take 5 minutes, and sit down to eat! Your experience will be different. Parking: Enough free parking Kid-friendliness: No high-chairs for kids. Minimal seating for adults as well.
