Awesome library and tour of the original DuPont home and black powder mill! Definitely recommend for families or curious people looking to learn more about early American industry or the DuPont family!

15 minute drive because the website says open when I arrived the doors are locked and no sign stating hours or any reason why they are closed. Waste of time because now I have to drive the opposite direction to just go to the park and do my school work. I would suggest if it's not a public library to remove information off Google so no one else who happens to live this close to the only library that says open waste time and money to be disappointed.

If you've never visited Hagley, take the time. This is a not to miss spot in the Wilmington area. You don't have to be interested in history. It's on 200 some gorgeous acres. And just walking on the property can be so relaxing. If you're stressed, go walk there.  I do work there part-time. Just a few days a week but not since the pandemic started. And every time I drive through those Gates, I just say to myself how lucky am I to work at such a gorgeous location.

A historic library that, for the most, do not lend books.
