My wife,  Lara, has been coming here for over 30 years now. She refuses to let anyone else cut her hair. I like the fact that the price is reasonable, and she says that Hurley, the owner has always cut her hair exactly the way she asks.He doesn't do chemical work, due to allergies, but he has a natural gift for cutting hair.
      Hair Pyrates started during the hair metal days in the 80's. Maybe people wear their hair differently now, but Hurley is still great at cutting hair, has a great following, low prices, and the shop has a great , homey feel and everyone is treated like a friend.

I've been going to hair Pyrates since I was 16 years old which is about 30 years now. If you're interested in growing your hair longer Hurley never takes off more than necessary and if that's not your concern and you just want a specific style he will do exactly what you want. He's awesomely talented.
