I sublet from JoAnn for over 5 years and she cheated me out of my deposit and a months rent. We had a contract and she broke it, lied to me about returning my deposit and gave me 3 days to move out.  She rented a new place the month before she told me to move, took my rent on the first of the next month, after she had a new place, a few days after taking my rent she told me that she was moving and that I had 3 days to get out.  The owner of the building did not know of my sublet contract.   I discovered after that because I has been there for over 5 years, I had rights to stay.  I packed up my business and did what she asked, stupidly expecting her to keep her word!   She never intended to!
JoAnn told me not to worry because she was giving me my deposit back. When she whispered it to me in the shop, I should have known that she had no intention of giving it back to me. Lejai, pronounced Leway, was not far from us and I thought that she was being descreet about business.  Now I know that she didn't want anyone to witness this.  We have been to lunch after the move, I loaned her my tent and have been in friendly contact. While renting from her, she has sold me products from Aveeda that were not supposed to be sold to customers and other products that were for Salons only and only told me when the rep was there. so I that I wouldn't say anything. Should have known and Guess she lied to them also!  There hasn't been problems with our relationship, except now I know that she cannot be trusted in any way.  She looked me in face and lied.  Broke the contract and stabbed me in the back. I should have taken her to court!
Beware of doing business with her!

They wanted $250 for a consultation ! Really , jusy to walk in they are going to charge me . Not cool. I will look some where else.
