Dr. Hakimian took great care of my mom Rita at Marina Mercy Hospital. Immediately after the surgery he explained to our family about the surgery & how she was doing. He came by all 3 days she was in the hospital and took the time to explain everything. He is very knowledgeable, caring and has an excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Hakimian.

Terrible MD. Lacks communication skills, compassion, empathy for patients. Unable to efficiently communicated orders/plan of care to staff. 0/10 would recommend.

My primary care doctor had asked Dr Hakimian to check on me while I was in the hospital overnight after surgery. He gave me a full check up,  listened to and answered all of my questions, and was very personable and easy to talk to. Very much a relief to someone who had never before been in a hospital longer than an hour or two.

He visited us at the ICU in Marina Del Rey Hospital because my grandma had been admitted for respiratory failure. He has awful bedside manner. He doesn't answer questions clearly and intellectually. He interrupts you when you're explaining or asking a question. He's rude and I would not recommend him to anyone. His demeanor is condescending.

What I respect and admire most is that Dr. Hakimian is a "true physician". His main interest is healing and maintaining your good health. I will forever be thankful to him for the personal attention he gives to my Santa and me.
