A very trendy place. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere. I do get a little discouraged when their parking lot is completely full so I tend to avoid stopping in sometimes. The place is split up as a restaurant and bar. This allows for more limited seating, especially at the bar so I can only assume that when the parking lot is full you would most likely have to stand. Not a big deal but it can be a turn off for some people. I can honestly say that any food I have ever ordered there was absolutely phenomenal! If you haven't eaten there then you are truly missing out! Also I have to mention one of the bartenders/servers, Emily. She has been working there for as long as I can remember and she is absolutely fantastic! She's super polite, super sweet, and she always goes the extra mile to make sure you've enjoyed your time. I don't go there too often so I'm not sure she is still working there but if so I hope you get the pleasure of meeting her! She's my favorite!

Due to the popularity of this restaurant we waited a little longer than I normally like but it was well worth it. The food, including an appetizer, soups, salads and entrees were excellently prepared and the wait staff were fun and friendly. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the incredible lamb chop appetizer, the tender and perfectly cooked fillet and the meat falling off the bone ribs. I would recommend Hal's to anyone ad can't wait to go back.

I was just visiting Pittsburgh from Nashville and was told how great this place was. Boy were they right!! Hal's was packed so it took some time to get waited on but it was worth the wait. I had a burger and fries and the Burger tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked. I also had an alcoholic beverage, I wasn't able to drink it because it had so much alcohol in it. I'm not complaining about it because I'm not much of a drinker and I'm sure that the normal drinker would be impressed by the amount of alcohol. Over all Hal's is a wonderful spot for dinner and cocktails. The ambience is great and the workers are nice! I'll be back on my next trip

We love it here! Reasonably priced, generous portions, everything has always been delicious and the staff is very friendly. Aleshia held our baby and was so great with him. Definitely one of our regular spots.

Best place for wings. Black and gold are the favorite. Lamb chops deserve special mention. Rich in taste and flavor. Pizza s are okay. They are always busy in the evenings.
