Delicious food and they know how to cook their lamb - tender and delicious. Hummus was delicious and the sumac fries a red spice that tastes a bit like lemon is dusted over fries was wonderful. A generous amount of pita was served along with the hummus and my photo of the plate was terrible because I had already dug in. There's a market attached with a variety of spices and a selection of olives and dates. I also bought one of the many varieties of Turkish delight they had. Service was efficient, and the seating was clean and pleasant.
My favorite restaurant to eat lunch and read a book. I’ve been coming here for at least ten years and I try to come once a week or so. There are so many vegan options and I always leave satisfied and happy.
Some of the worst kebab I've had in my entire life! I spent $27 and got what is pictured. Not to mention the rude slow service from the waitress. They only have a lot of good ratings because they offer a discount at the register if you do a review on the spot
Hala's has been successful at this location for over 30 years for a reason. We visited for the first time since Covid. We had a great lunch with our usual favorites: hummus, tabouli, falafel, labneh, and eggplant m'nazleh. They serve their own Hala-made pita which is soft and fresh. We finished with Turkish coffee and kunefe for dessert. Everything was delicious! The waitress was attentive and accommodating. The prices are reasonable.
Absolutely FANTASTIC!! Yummy fresh food and a cute little market. 10/10 will be back! Kid-friendliness: Awesome selection on the kids menu. My 8 year old loved her meal
I wish I had taken a picture to show how great my lamb schwarma was. The meat was cooked absolutely perfectly, nice and soft, but with enough chew to make the texture interesting. The seasoning was bright and balanced, which combined with the fresh, crunchy veggies made for a perfect bite each time. And the bread? I went back in and bought two bags to take home…at a crazy low price. I cannot wait to go back!
I have eaten at Hala’s for over 10 years. My meal today was dry, and the pita bread was not as normal it was flat and dry. This was the worst food I have ever eaten there. The server also had a bad attitude and that didn’t make the dining experience any better. Well it was a nice run. Time to find a new restaurant for my hummus.
We waited at least 30 minutes to be seen. I understand that the lady working the tables was by herself, however customers that were sat at tables AFTER us were being helped before us. The gentlemen i was with ended up going to the counter where she was just helping everyone else and he was ignored by her. He wanted to just make sure we were seen. This was very unexceptable. We have been customers at this location previously and this seems like a reoccuring issue and every other time we have been understanding. However, when we are over looked even after being reasonably understanding that she is serving tables by herself and proceeds to help others that were in empty seats when we arrived in. We decided it was the best decision for us to leave despite us craving this particular food. Very poor customer service and just noticing customers when they arrive into your place of business is a must. We weren't acknowledged at all even when we tried to intervene.
It was good, the pita was fresh and the hummus was good. The only thing I did see after I ate was the Male cook no mask in back was cooking and taking a bite of something every few minutes. That's why a 3 star. Everything else was clean and waitress was friendly.
Solid food — was a little disappointed that the falafel platter didn’t come with more food. I’m used to having pita bread come out with the falafel platter, but it just came with 5 falafels, a dollop of hummus, and some tabouleh. The fava bean soup was hearty and filling.
