Great deals and selection of different genres of books. I love coming here to add to my cookbook collection. Be sure to checkout the clearance selection in the back left side of the store. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is comfortable to browse and read your selections. Prices range from 30%-90% off the retail price.

BE CAREFUL WHEN SELLING! They will tell you they are "taking all of the books" but what they mean is they are paying you for some and others that they will keep as donations to sell in their outlet store or recycle. The manager I worked with did not say that she wasn't paying me for 20 books and seemed annoyed when I asked for them back! Watch out for the scammers!!!!!!!!!!

Having been to the majority of HPB in Chicagoland, this is the best one hands down for its selection. Most HPB don't even break down their film section by genre. This location does that and includes a cult film section. I'd prefer the didn't mix foreign films in that but it's better than most locations that just alphabetize all movies. The music/movie book section always has a few gems. Classic paperbook racks are the best I've seen as well. Vinyl selection is decent plus they have a good assortment of collectible rare items (books, comics, toys, etc.) on display.

I always find more items of interest at this store than I can possibly buy in one visit.  They still have a pretty good selection of used DVD and a great selection of new and used books.  Almost never have time to check out the used CDs before I need to leave.  Love this store!
