The last few times I've been in the customer service has left something to be desired. I was willing to overlook some of it. However, during my last visit, when I went to the front to finish up my visit, there were two employees and a manager (Tammy, I think her name was) standing there talking about something unrelated to the job. Basically just chit chatting. I stood in front of all of them for at least 30 seconds before they acknowledged me. They could clearly see me standing there, and I was still ignored. And then when they assisted me they were all rather rude and acted as though I was an inconvenience. I won't be returning here.

I've always enjoyed bookstores.  Not the new ones, necessarily, that sell coffee and pastries, with big names tied to random products.  There's a certain... something... missing in a new book store.  Half Price Books has that nice smell, the smell of well loved literature and old binders glue.  Yes, they sell toys, older LPs, mixed media and such, but the selection of books is wonderful.  No two visits are quite the same.  One week a worn set of old favorites might be there, the next, they have been replaced with something just as interesting, but not quite my style.  I've found many gems hidden here, however.  I particularly like the 'collectibles' area kept behind the cashiers station.  You can always tell when someone has brought in an extensive collection.  The selection is far from complete in most cases, but that's the fun part, digging through shelves, looking for something special to line my own bookcase.

The store was clean and well put together.  It was easy to find the sections I wanted, and although I didn’t need help, I saw many employees helping other customers find what they need. Will definitely be coming back.

Very nice place with nice categories. They have a children's section. They have a great selection of books. The prices of the books are pretty cheap! Great affordable prices. The staff there are usually helpful and friendly. They will help you find a certain book. The place is neat and organized and they are most likely to have the book you are looking for!

Bad customer service. Sold a ton of good books to them and got bottom dollar. When you shop they follow you around the store. Kinda creepy. Over price on a lot of stuff. Rude staff. Definently need to hire better and friendlier people.
