This is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever had the pleasure of going to. We were able to stay at the hotel with our balcony on the ground floor so we had beach access. It was reasonably priced and had a little stream coming from the beach leading towards our hotel it was absolutely beautiful. One of the highlights was also the ability to build a fire, and bring out lawn chairs to sit around it at the beach. This added to the Ambiance of the area and our stay. The beach is also well-maintained and beautiful.

Admittedly, I am biased when it comes to all things Hampton Beach. The state park however, is not to be taken for granted. The town workers and community keep this destination clean. Relax with a good book and a chair, even on a cold day. Bring the tribe on the warmer summer days. Just be aware of your parking. Plan accordingly and do not think that pulling into a "resident only" lot is going to go unnoticed. Not having a town sticker affixed to your windshield will result in a ticket which carries a hefty fine. Please, pick up your area as well upon departure. Polluted coastal spots are unattractive, not to mention wind blowing debris into the ocean. It's an unfair hazard to the marine life.

This is one of my favorite NH state parks. Clean bathrooms, excellent store (pricey but it's to be expected), nice employees and, I love seeing the lifeguards around the whole time patrolling the beach. The parking lot is huge and there are picnic tables near the store which are helpful. Just beware that when the tide comes in here there is hardly ANY beach room so if it's a busy day at the beach and the tide comes in, you're basically sharing your blanket space with perfect strangers. 🙄

Right now the sidewalk is all ice. If you are looking to go for a walk for some exercise or a break from reality I recommend walking on the snow. There is not too many people on the beach at this time of the year. It's a great time to walk your dog or a significant other lol

Grew up here so I'm biased. I feel like it was more family oriented when I was little, but the pendulum seems to be going back towards that now. It always makes me feel comfortable and safe.
