INVITING ENVIRONMENT. Down-home hospitality and friendly services at Hampton Inn. My family and I had made reservations for a particular weekend, and, at the time, the rooms' price increased more than 20-percent, but we were in luck because we had scheduled rooms prior to the price increase; however, we were denied a discount with a special promotion because the rooms were sold out and due to a price spike. COMFORT. A welcoming environment with ergonomically fitted amenities w/a satisfactory bed, although I did see a small stain on a pillar case maybe soda spill or juice. To even the odds, complimentary WiFi and a list of television channels with a list of guidance for a particular channel and a nice size flat screen television. GRIPES. The hotels should replace their doorknobs with more expensive knobs because at times the entrance card doesn't properly work in the room itself or to the entrance doors to come inside the hotel after hours and that can become a nuisance. So here's why I rated this hotel a 4-star: the front-door associate was incredibly friendly and intuitive while having a fascinating smile on her face. Most importantly, the environment felt safe and it is on the same strip of restaurants and shopping centers; however, not being able to appoint us a discount with a special promotion was a bit shady and the doors improperly working bring in a 4-star experience.

Outdated hotel and a mildew smell throughout the hotel, rooms have old furniture and no refrigerator.. just needs to be updated for the price they are charging. Our company uses this chain for our employees.. I will look elsewhere next time..

WAITED AT THE DESK FOR AT LEAST 10 MINUTES WHILE THE COUNTER ASSISTANT SAT OUTSIDE TALKING TO HER FAMILY OR FRIENDS. THE PHONE RANG 3 TIMES IN THAT PERIOD FOR A LONG TIME AND NOBODY ANSWERED. I BOOKED A KING ROOM ON THE HAMPTONS APP AND SHOWED HER PROOF BUT WAS ABRUPTLY TOLD THAT NO MORE KING ROOMS WERE AVAILABLE. I WAS SERVED WITH VERY LITTLE INTEREST AT ALL AND NOT EVEN AN ID WAS REQUESTED ON ARRIVAL. NO MENTION OF BREAKFAST NO MENTION OF ANY AMENITIES ON THE PROPERTY. IT FELT I WAS A NUISANCE AT THAT MOMENT AS ALL THE ASSISTANT WANTED WAS TO CONTINUE HER CONVERSATION WITH HER FAMILY/FRIENDS. HAVE STAYED HERE IN THE PAST 4 TIMES NEVER HAD SUCH A BAD TASTE OF THE PREMISES. NICE PLACE. SUCH A PITY

The staff was very helpful and freindly. Rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Hotel room was never clean when we got back from work in the afternoon and had to call for clean towels and to get the room cleaned. I have stayed in many Hampton inn across the South East and this by far was the worst.
