How do we have the best sushi restaurant ever in Joplin?! I could order a new roll every day and never run out of possibilities! We ordered the Radical, Crunchy Shrimp, and the Shredz roll. The service was speedy for dine-in, and our waitress was very friendly and patient as we looked through the extensive menu. Their 30+ page binder menu that had pictures was very helpful for us first-time customers. Can’t wait to eat here again!
So, this may get updated in the future. I actually liked the sushi and the staff was friendly. I had a good feeling about this place- until I went to the restroom. It's enough to make me not go back. Cleanliness is always important in a restaurant, but especially a sushi joint for me. Everything was tacky/sticky- and not from disinfectant spray residue. There was some kind of dust covered orangy pink drip and spray all over the walls. My husband peeked into the kitchen on his way out and said he didn't want to come back, cleanliness again.
Gotta check out the "custom combo book" filled with nearly endless number of meal combinations. Many customers have submitted their own creations that have been added to menu book. Top quality food and very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. We have been there during different times and have received prompt service each time. For those needing to know, yes they have clean bathrooms. While the dine-in area only consists a handful tables and few sit-at-the-bar spots, the feeling is cozy and not crowded or cramped. They do great deal of take-out. Love the Calamari Salad and the huge Spring Rolls, and "Spider Sushi Roll". Great beverage selection of sodas, teas hot and cold also alcoholic choices. Pictures from this visit are of the "Louisiana Roll" and the Calamari Salad that actually was already more than half eaten when I remembered to take the photos--haha! It is that addictively delicious. For those that are not proficient in the "art" of using chopsticks, they have a plastic attachment that can help with the "pinching together".
I always love trips to Han's. The restaurant itself is very clean and tidy. The staff is always very friendly. And I have yet to have a bad item from this shop. However, im a basic kinda gal and the California roll continues to be my favorite.
Average sushi place. I like the extensive customer created menu of various rolls. The one major complaint is that they are extremely overpriced. I've never seen $20 rolls where I'm from in Atlanta even at the top five star sushi bars. Absolutely not worth their prices but if this is all that's in the area then it'll have to do.
Ordered a big platter and one tempura roll for our party of four at lunch time. It was busy and it took a while to get our made-to-order food, of course. Tasted great. Parking: Big parking lot
Food is always fresh, facilities are clean and staff is friendly. If I'm tired of burgers or sandwiches for lunch, I'll stop in here and pick up some sushi to go! It doesn't matter which sushi it is, they are all good. Try Han The Sushi Man out if you are tired of the same ol same ol. *review update 7/11/18* Bought the Crunchy Tempura Shrimp 8pc and the 12 pc California roll. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes. I love picking up lunch from here and the food is always consistent.
Went on Tuesday closed. Went on Wednesday to try it. I only want a simple FRESH California roll with crab not mushed. The blank staired lady went to a cooler and gave me not what i wanted i had to point it out to her. I got home good enough but not enough wasabi but put a minute dab only 3 out of 12. This is the 2nd time to visit, same resaults. The 1st time was opening week, years later,yesterday!
