I was never more scared and intimidated by this towing company. I thought I had a flat tire on the highway. I called the police because I felt unsafe getting out of the car to inspect it. (High traffic hour) the police immediately called the towing company. I said I’m not sure it’s flat, I don’t need a tow. But they insisted. 
After a while I checked my tire, and a piece of plastic had become lodged up near the tire. But I still needed help to pull it out. But I was able to drive it off the highway and called the police and told them. They said well the towing truck was still on the way. 
He arrived and I told him I don’t need a tow or a tire change. I said can u just help me pull the plastic away from the tire and duct tape it. NOPE he said. Plus in fact you owe me 75.00 for coming here. I said for what?! You didn’t do anything. I get paid either way. I talked to his boss and he said they can impound your car till you pay it. This isn’t even my car, I borrowed the car. I don’t have the money I told him and he yells at me and says we will impound the car. These people are the most crooked unfeeling heartless people I’ve ever met. I drove away with the car the same and out 75.00 that I needed for bills.

Professional, knowledgeable, prompt!  Shane, one of the technicians, was fast to come via AAA to help tow my car.  He also suggested that I not get my car home, then have to tow it again, but to take it directly to Subaru so it could be serviced, saving me time and money.  Made a bit of a nightmare into an efficient and easy transaction.  Shane deserves a raise!

I brought my car in for an oil change. When I went back to pick it up, Charlie (owner) told me the oil pan screw had been threaded on incorrectly, and they had had to replace the whole oil pan.  They did the repair without consulting me first, then charged me $150 for the oil pan. Terrible practices and customer service.

Edit: The owner replies "we did consult you," sorry but that's just not true.

My car nearly exploded as I arrived in Vermont on Friday, only there for the weekend and with big plans Monday night I thought I was screwed! But handys was referred to me by another shop, and they were awesome! Car was done in no time staff was beyond friendly (shout out the dispatch guy) and cars running like a gem, if I ever breakdown in Vermont again I'm not going anywhere else
