Hanna's Nails & Salon is a full service nail and hair salon conveniently located on the south side of Kaukauna, right on Hwy 55 (Crooks Ave.), between Dick's Drive-In, Family Video and CE.

Hanna has been in the business since 2001 and has developed a reputation for the highest quality service. Her strict sanitation regimens and her attention to the tiniest of details has helped her to build many loyal customers and friendships that have followed her over the years. What is Permanent Makeup?

Basically, permanent makeup is having your makeup, permanently tattooed on, so you don't have to do it every day. It is a very specialized form of tattooing, also called micro-pigmentation.

Who wants Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup is for anyone who wants to wake up with makeup, ready to go, looking as fantastic as ever, without spending any time on their makeup. Your eyebrows, eye liner and lips will always be perfect, without ever having to put makeup on, touch up or take makeup off. Plus, it will never run and your lip color will not come off when you eat.

Why should you have Hanna do your permanent makeup?

It’s important to know that there ARE other people out there who do permanent makeup. We see their work and repair their work all the time. They may charge more or less than Hanna, but permanent makeup is both an art and a skill and must be performed by a professionally licensed tattoo artist. Both Hanna and her facility are fully licensed and insured. First, she is licensed as a Tattooist by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The tattoo establishment is also licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. And finally, the City of De Pere Health Department does regular and rigorous inspections to ensure that sanitary procedures are in place and being followed.

Hanna has been doing beautiful permanent makeup for years and has many happy customers who send their friends and family to see her. We see bad work from other permanent makeup “professionals” quite often and the primary problem is their lack of artistic ability. Often times the shape of the permanent eyebrows is not appropriate for the person’s face, or a generic eyebrow shape is used that doesn't fit the customer. Hanna always uses her incredible artistic ability to use the natural eyebrows the customer has to create an enhanced, more beautiful, but totally natural eyebrow shape that appropriately fits the customer’s face. It’s the same for eye liner, lip liner, full lips and custom eye liner. You don’t want to trust your permanent makeup to anyone else just because of price. Lower price does not equal better value.

Does it hurt?

For most people, the entire experience is very comfortable. With the topical anesthetics that Hanna uses, any discomfort is very minimal. You will enjoy a peaceful, relaxing time with the eager anticipation of a beautiful result.

How long does it take?

It takes about an hour to an hour and a half to do eyebrows, eye liner, or lip liner. Add about an hour for full lips. This includes time for the anesthesia to take effect.

How long does it last?

About 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment, you will have a follow up appointment to ensure that the pigment has taken exactly as planned and given you the perfect shape, fullness and color that you were looking for. Any touch-ups and fine tuning will be done then. Although the results will vary from person to person, for most people it will last for years.

How much does it cost?

The cost of permanent makeup is really a bargain, especially when you consider how much time you might spend applying and maintaining your make up. Not to mention the cost of purchasing eye liner, lipstick and eyebrow pencils. What is it worth to you, to always have your makeup perfect, with no further effort on your part? You could run to the store, the gym, or answer the door at any time and always look your very best.
