Hannaford wants you to think they are a whole foods equivalent. This is done in price alone. Not at all competitive among the 3 markets here in Dover. Even Shaws has enough good buys each week to warrant a visit.  In addition, during my visit around 5pm I overheard employees conversing with each other that the cart he was working into stock was OUT since the previous day, proceeded to shrug and carries out his task. Excellent proactive work right? Good save. Oh, I neglected to mention the cart was full of unfrozen meat goods, and out meant in dry stock..........be warned, steer clear.  This was my first, and last visit.  Clearly the parking lot is empty for a reason.

This Hannaford is great. While the competition next door is generally open one hour later, this "locally" (regionally, anyway) owned store is less expensive.

They recently did a remodel and now have a very nice beer section. I can almost always find what I need.

Great place... although since the remodeling I can't find anything! It's going to take some much getting use to, that is for sure! If you plan to visit this Hannaford in June/July 2017, expect to find a newly remodeled floor with a lots of new & different items along with their common favorites from before!

Great prices and always well stocked. Not as busy as market basket which is a huge plus for me because I can get in and out quickly. They also have higher quality meats and produce.
