Corey, Brian, Nick, Sam, Michael and Riley were outstanding!! We would recommend this crew from the Lynnwood office in a heartbeat. They were extremely careful with packing, loading and moving our belongings. They were professional and had great camaraderie, making the move fun and much less stressful. Corey and Brian are masterful drivers, maneuvering the trucks down a narrow lane and around a sharp, tight corner. We were really impressed. A special thank you to Brad, our sales person from the Newcastle office, who took extra steps in customer service to ensure our move dates. Overall Grade: A+++

Your organization is fabulous, from Start to finish. My salesperson was great as well as my moving coordinator. I had used your services previously when I helped some clients downsize and decided to use your services for my move to California. The people, from packers , loaders and drivers were all extremely professional and helpful. They communicated well, cleaned up, and were very thorough. It went so smoothly, as well as the arrival and unpacking. You picked a great driver and company to get me into California after leaving your facility. Nothing is broken that I know of...still unpacking but so far so good. All my things were packed so carefully. I’d recommend you time and time again. I’m so pleased with your services. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Hansen Brothers to all my friends and family. They made my original move from my house to storage at their facility three years ago so smooth and easy. Then this week, you all moved my items from storage to my Dad's home and once again made the move so so easy. Kyle, Bailey and Josh were courteous, professional and very friendly. I will most certainly use your company again if I should move!

Rick and Josh did an outstanding job delivering our furniture that had been in storage. On the morning of delivery, we had no power and there was a fallen tree blocking access to our house from one direction. But that didn't faze them - they arrived early (despite having to take a ferry and navigate the downed tree), and put furniture together in the dark. They carried a very heavy oak desk up a narrow flight of stairs in an awe-inspiring manner. They were speedy, professional, considerate, and accommodating. They made the whole delivery process pleasant and easy.

DO NOT USE FOR INTERNATIONAL MOVES. Hansen subcontracts with international shipping companies, but they don't tell you until after you start working with them. They act like they have experience and even give you details about international process that prove to be false. Then after you start to work with them they "turn you over to a colleague" and you get an email from another company!! The Hansen rep made quite a few misrepresentations, was not transparent about all costs or the subcontractor, and when we expressed concerns, she suggested that we were just stressed out from moving. Don't complain to the owner of the company either as he sides with his team. During our complicated international move, we dealt with several vendors and they were the absolute worst with regards to customer service, integrity, and communication. Their bid was $5000 over other bids, but there were still hidden costs that were not disclosed. We heard good things about them for local moves, which is why we accepted their high bid, expecting exceptional customer service and care, but international was a disaster. You pay more because they are the middle man (ask them up front, we wish we did). You can go directly to international movers and save yourself thousands of dollars and get trustworthy international movers who know their stuff. In a high priced service industry, you would expect a company to at least say something like, "sorry you have concerns" or "I'm sorry you are not having a good experience". There was no apologies anywhere to be found, no ownership of misinformation, and a complete lack of transparency, all at exorbitant costs. Go elsewhere for international moves and cut out this middle man. I should also add that the packers for the move (Hansens Bros packers) mislabeled several of the boxes. So, when we arrived at our new home, the boxes marked "kitchen items" were moved into the kitchen only to find things like toys or gym equipment when we opened the box. Unpacking has been incredibly frustrating. A glass top to an expensive coffee table couldn't be found until we unpacked a gym mat and it was tucked inside. Hansens packs you up, moves you out of your home, puts your goods in storage and then the experienced international moving company takes your stuff out of storage into their own shipping container and ships your goods. You pay a hefty fee to Hansens and then they pay the international movers and you find out that you need to pay the international movers additional fees like the additional $4000 to insure the items. Hansens never put insurance in the budget/bid. Do you have an extra $4000 to spare unexpectedly for a big move?? It was shocking. Go directly to the international company. Save time and headaches.
